The cart is fixed. Andy ordered the inner tube to fix the wheel. the inner tube never came until late this afternoon. Thankfully, Andy checked Big R's web site and sure enough, they had the same size wheel. He came by right after work tonight and put the wheel on and we're good to go in the morning. I know he was rushed tonight and he still took time to say hi to Emma. When I found the paperwork from the cart, it was dated 2016. This cart has logged lots of sales and markets over the years, and for this to be the first thing to go wrong, I feel blessed. It might not be a bad idea to buy three more wheels just in case. Ya just never know... Thank you Andy, I love you.
It's a good day for baking with the rain making it somewhat cooler. The house is smelling really good about now.

Items can be picked up Saturday June 1st between 4pm and 6pm . Prices starting at $12.00 Message me for pick up location. Order deadline is Thursday May 31st at 7:00pm. No refunds if you are a no show. Thanks for looking
Andy came over after work last night and looked at the tire. He took it with him and will see if it can be fixed. I not, Saturday is going to be a very very long day! I found the information sheet for my cart in hopes of part numbers if I had to order a new wheel. Believe it or not, the cart was bought in 2016 and this is the first there has been a problem. This cart is a real blessing and saves lots of trips back and forth while setting up. Thanks Andy for taking the time to look at this for my. I love you more than there are words.
When the market was over and everyone was packing up, I was loading my sandbags in my cart. I was pulling the cart and it was pulling really hard. Couldn't figure it out. When the weight was out of the cart, I discovered a flat tire. After all the excitement with the wind, I didn't look at the cart until yesterday. I got out my air pump and filled the tire. 10 minutes later, I checked the tire and as flat as it would be. I called my go to guy, my son and he came after work tonight and took the tire and will figure out the problem. I am so thankful for my son, he's always there when I need him. I thank God for him every day, Will keep you posted on how the store ends. Like I said, never a dull minute at the market.
We want to send a big thank you to the brave souls who braved the wind and supported us at the opening day of the Fountain Market. There is always excitement at the market, you never know what's going to happen, Plan to attend this coming Saturday.
Baking is under way for opening day of the 2024 market season. Carrot Apple Zucchini Bread is in the oven as I type this. The Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter, Confetti Sugar and Snickerdoodle cookies are done. All I need to do it package the snickerdoodles, then the cookie part is finished. Zucchini Bread, Rhubarb Bread and Date Bread are next. Tomorrow, the Blue Berry Bars and Brownies and the cakes will be made. I'm thinking pound cake and maybe a couple others. Still thinking about a Bundt but don't know what one yet. One thing is for sure, it will be interesting.
