We are celebrating D.P. Lund Company's 25th anniversary today!
What started out as an electrical contracting company then became an electrical engineering firm. That firm went from electrical design and fire alarm layout to now specializing in power studies and we gained valuable experience and life lessons every step of the way.
D.P. Lund Company has followed us from Shelby to Missoula and now Texas and has given us the means to raise two wonderful children and introduced us to great friends.
We have clients in 12 states spanning both coasts and Hawaii and its those clients we would like to shout out a gigantic THANK YOU, because without you, we wouldn't be here today to celebrate 25 years.

We're getting ready to complete a 600 label arc flash study renewal for one of our favorite clients!
With the new year upon us, we'd like to encourage you to think about the maintenance of your smoke detectors. The simplest maintenance strategy is to execute run-to-failure maintenance (also known as “run to fail”). In this strategy, assets are deliberately allowed to operate until they break down, at which point reactive maintenance is performed. Please don't use this strategy! Most smoke detectors have a life expectancy of 10 years - after that their sensors begin to lose sensitivity. So while you're replacing your batteries, see if you can find a manufacturer's date and if it's getting to the 10-year mark, consider replacing it. Fun fact - you can now buy detectors with a 10-year battery that cost about $15.
