Please join us Saturday to honor and celebrate Bruce T Moore
As I was thinking about the loss of Bruce T Moore over the last 24 hours and trying to figure out what to say. I went over to his FB page and the below picture says it all. That picture includes everything that was most important to him as a man, father, and friend. The people he loves the most in front of the place he loved the most. Glad to have been able to call you friend. God Speed and I know Ricky was there to welcome you home.

Last night in a heated debate about the ongoing violent crime in our community I used an offensive and inappropriate description of our Youth Prevention and Intervention programs. I sincerely apologize for that characterization. I am committed to support those programs as I have for the last 11 years as a city director. My comment has unfortunately taken the focus off the problem at hand, which is violent crime and a safer Little Rock. I definitely feel the long-term solution to the ongoing violent crime in Little Rock lies within those programs and co-ordination with pro-active policing with the Little Rock Police Department.
Sincerely,
Lance Hines

Looks like most if not all of VOW has power now. 10 crews are working on Napoleon and other parts of St Charles to get trees off of lateral lines behind houses. Final mile turning 5-10 houses on at a time.
Well folks. Some of you are happy and some of you are just like me sitting in the dark again. Parts of VOW got power about 50%. Here’s what Entergy just told me.
Apparently some line fuses blew when they energized the backbone circuit. All our folks have timed out so unfortunately we will have to start picking it up line by line in the morning. We will start at 6am and have a strong presence to get everyone back on.
The eastern portion of St. Charles or about 1100 homes came back on and now they are working to get the western side on.
