Chinese Kousa Dogwood Trees are in bloom 💕
A beautiful flowering tree with multi season interest. Each spring yellowish-green true flowers are surrounded by four pointed white bracts. Red raspberry like edible fruit. Dark green leaves turn reddish purple to Scarlet in the fall. An upright habit with horizontal branching that eventually matures to rounded form. Mottled tan and gray bark exfoliates as the tree matures.

We had a visit from Frances. She’s 104. And she told us she’s been coming to DeMarcos for years and used to come with her mother. She told us she didn’t want to spend more than $11 today. We made sure she didn’t. And for Frances, and all of our sweet customers, we are so thankful. 🌸💕🪴

Last week someone lost a beautiful necklace here it was found in the parking lot, we are hoping someone will come in to claim it. It looks like it is pretty special to someone! Please stop by the Garden Center with the description if you lost it😊

Bigger pots/containers have larger soil volume so the plants won’t need to be watered as often. More soil also means your plants can grow a bigger root system. Plants with lots of roots tend to be happy, healthy plants. So, our 13” Hanging Baskets will be easier than 11” basket, it has about 2x as much soil. **Compare our basket sizes & depth to others**that’s one of our secrets to success for all of these years!
These planters are headed out to one of our fav ❤️ local businesses!
