Did you know that 3 Black women NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration scientists and mathematicians - Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan, and Mary Jackson, were pivotal in the 1969 moon landing? As we reflect on these achievements and others this , we also chose to help an organization working to shape the future, Black Girls CODE, a not-for-profit organization that "focuses on providing technology education for African-American girls focused on increasing the number of women of color in the digital space by empowering girls of color ages 7 to 17 to become innovators in STEM fields, leaders in their communities, and builders of their own futures through exposure to computer science and technology."
