Today I took my oath of office for Dubois County Council at Large. It was definitely a different experience from previous times, but having my wife, daughter, and mom by my side made it more meaningful and special for me!

Thank you all for supporting my campaign and believing in me to represent you well. I will do my best to continue to keep your confidence in my abilities.

To all the veterans out there. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I truly appreciate the service, dedication, and sacrifices you've given to our country. Your service has afforded us the many freedoms we enjoy every day. Thank you and Happy Veteran's Day!

Wow! I am honored by the show of encouragement and support I received yesterday! Recieving the most votes of all 6 candidates running is an amazing feeling and reassuring that I am representing the county well. Thank you all for trusting in me to continue as your county councilman for another term! I want to especially thank my wife, Kaitlin for keeping me positive through the trying times of the race and taking up the slack at home while I was doing D2D. Without her help and support I couldn't have done it. I also want to thank my mom, Wanda for helping me with D2D. She walked many miles and knocked on many doors to help get my information out. Finally, I want to thank everyone who voted for me, sent encouraging and congratulatory messages, and allowed me to put signs in their yards this election! Your support means so much! Thank you!!

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Today's the day! Serving as your councilman these last 4 years has been an honor and a privilege. I've enjoyed my time on the council and want to continue serving you, Dubois County!

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Dubois County is a wonderful place to have grown up and lived, and I know it will be a great place to raise my family. I feel blessed to be able to contribute and give back to the community that has given me so much over the years, and I would be honored to continue serving you if given the chance to be re-elected.

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Every vote counts and it means a lot knowing you support me as your councilman! So please vote and remind your fellow Dubois County neighbors to get out and vote as well! I appreciate your continued support and vote in this election!

Thank you!

Facebook keeps suggesting I boost my posts about the campaign but then reject them when I do try to boost. It's very confusing!
You can still vote early at the Courthouse Annex tomorrow, Monday, from 8am - Noon. Then, on Election Day!!! We're in the final stretch and SO close to being done! I still ask for your vote and support!

Did you see this last week's ad in the Ferdinand News! They did an amazing job on the design and were so great to work with!

Have you heard? It's all a buzzz! This cute little bee says, "Beeee cool and vote for my daddy!" Her words not mine lol. I would appreciate the support.

Awesome job Dubois County! 34% of registered voters have already voted with a week still to go! That's the highest percent of voter turnout I've ever seen! Extended hours have been added to the Ferdinand location to help with high voter volume. Here is the updated voting locations, dates and times! Keep it up Dubois County! I would also appreciate your support when voting this year!

A couple of newspaper ads came out this last week! The Jasper News Journal and Huntingburg Press ran these ads on Tuesday, but don't worry if you missed them. They will be running them again this week! Along with the Ferdinand News running a similar ad!

I can still remember where I was, what I was doing, and how I felt when I was told what happened, and later saw for myself. It was inspiring to see the outcry of support and pride for the police, firemen, military and heroic individuals in the days, weeks and months following these attacks. We came together as a nation, and I was proud to be an American. I hope we, as a country, can get back to that mindset and supportive attitude again!

I hope everyone has a fun, relaxing, and safe Labor Day weekend!

Throwback Thursday! One of my accomplishments to make county government more accessible was to change meeting times so the public could more easily attend. I was pretty proud of making this change! A current goal of mine is to have the meetings available online for everyone to watch.

First new evening meeting for the commissioners...I've only seen the room this packed for budget and one other time. Interesting how part of the resistance was the opinion that no more people would attend than usual. You, the people of Dubois County, have spoken! Thank you for the support!

My mom, Ryan Schuetter, and I were out doing door to door campaigning in Ferdinand earlier this evening. Many of the people we met were very nice, and we had some great chats! One gentleman even gave us some bottled water seeing how hot we were. Unfortunately in all our conversations I forgot to take any pictures πŸ™. So, I thought the next best thing would be a couple of pictures of my campaign materials and mask!

Mom and I have been out giving my information door to door the last couple of weeks! Of course we masked up when we walked up to the houses!

Happy 4th of July! I hope everyone has a fun and safe time today!

03/07/2020

4 years ago today we walked in the Haysville parade. Unfortunately, almost all of the parades have been canceled this year, and we haven't been able to attend community events either. Hopefully, things will get back to normal and you'll get to see me running around like a crazy man at our local parades in the future!

In the meantime, please spread the word to vote for me in the upcoming election November 3rd! Early voting will start in early October too!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I really appreciate all who came out to vote for me in the primary election! Your support means so much to me! I'm proud of the work I've done while in office, but I feel there is still a lot to do. With your support we can make it happen! I ask for your vote in the general election on November 3rd so I can continue what we've started. Please help spread the word to your friends and family to come out and vote in the general election! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Uebelhor for Council supporters! I'm in need of some supporters to walk with me in the Ireland parade this Sunday. The parade starts at 1pm, but we would need to meet about 15-30 minutes before to get ready. I would love to have a few friends walk with me! I have a limited amount of shirts so if you have my first council shirt from 4 years ago we will be using them for this parade. I'll have more details soon but wanted to get a count of who would like to join us! If you need a shirt, we may need to get creative with sizes this first time, but I should have an order placed and in for the next parade! Thank you for your continued support! If you would like to make a contribution to my campaign I will have a campaign letter ready soon.
