You may know that Creekside Inn's outside area is amazing, but did you know that Eastern Sierra Land Trust Designated us as a Pollinator Garden? Keep your eye out for our little pollinator friends on your next visit! 🐝💐🌺🌳

We had some guest that hike around the Bristlecone Pines and were kind enough to share their photos with us. If you ever feel the need for a small adventure, Ancient Bristlecone Pine forest is home to the oldest trees in the world, and is only about an hour from us!

When it comes to flowers - give us all the Beauties! We encourage you to literally - Stop and smell the Roses! 🌹🌹🌞

We decided to start the New Year off with a Bang! Beginning January 5th, our Buffet Breakfast is back. If you you have not had a chance to enjoy our specialty menu items, there is still time! Order up your favorites before they are gone!

Duck, Duck, GOOSE... or Turkey. These little guys were seen visiting our Creek last week. We like to think they are on their way to celebrate a hearty Thanksgiving of corn and oats 😁 Whether you are enjoying potatoes or pie, we hope you have a great Thanksgiving!

Santa's little helpers visited our hotel last week to make sure we were ready for holiday season. Just in time for our indoor fireplace season to start also. After dinner, there is no better place to the the chill of the night off, than in front of the fireplace!

Meet our team leader, Carlos, who leads our staff at The Whistling Trout Restaurant. Carlos has been part of our amazing team for almost 6 years, but he has been cooking up a storm all around Bishop for the last 12 years.

Carlos moved to Bishop 20 years ago from Guadalajara, Mexico. While cooking is a passion for him, his favorite way to spend his free time is with his family and Grandson.

If you see Carlos on your next visit, make sure you tell him HI!

It is never to early for a little time by the Fire Tables. A cup of joe by the fire is the best way to enjoy the babbling creek this morning.

Creekside Riddle Time. Our guests Chase and Chris spied this majestic bird by our Creek. Do you know what kind of bird it is?

We are in the last days of Lavender at the hotel. We know, we know, we will miss the amazing smells too. But our Big & Beautiful Lavender will be back next year. We will see (and smell) you later!

Looking for something off the beaten path? Try exploring Buttermilk Boulders off of Buttermilk Road. It is only about 30 mins from the hotel. On your way there, see if you can spot our little Stone Seal 🦭 friend! Our wonderful Guest Larry sent us these pictures from his adventure last week!

Just as the sun is peaking out, our lobby is ready for all our new visitors this weekend! If you arrive a little early for check in, we have some board games in our lobby sitting area that you can enjoy to pass the time. Want to enjoy the outside area instead? Take a stroll through our creek sitting area or check out Bishop Park across the street.

Want to cool off and explore at the same time? We recommend heading north a little bit to enjoy the beautiful Convict Lake. The lake has a 2.5 walking path around it, so you can beat the heat and enjoy mother nature at the same time!

Now is the perfect time to cool off in our pool to beat this heat! Pool towels are always available at the pool, so bring a hat and relax pool side!

Secretly, its our favorite time of year - when we start seeing the ducklings in and around the creek! Can you spy with your little eye our new little friends ?!

We are so pleased to announce that has certified the Creekside Inn as a Pollinator Garden! By surrounding our hotel in naïve flowers and plants we are doing our part to help keep the Bees and Butterflies of the Eastern Sierra thriving.

On your next visit keep, see if you can spot our little pollinator friends. This Beautiful Tiger Sallowtail butterfly was just spotted last week, helping to keep Bishop pollinated and beautiful.

Great picture of our Creek just as the sun was saying farewell last night. The nights can still be a bit chilly this time of year, so make sure you bring a sweater when you enjoy the sunsets by the creek.

Today is the Grand re-opening of our in house restaurant, The Whistling Trout! We are so excited to offer this exclusive amenity to our in house guests. Chef Val has been working endlessly to get the menu items just perfect, and we have to say she did an amazing job.

Chef Valeria is a California native and a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu, Pasadena. Chef Val's favorite meal to prepare is breakfast. She enjoys helping the guest get the best start to their day. Plus, who doesn’t like a good breakfast?

Spring is so close, and we couldn't be any more excited to see our little creek begin to bloom with life again!

The mountains are truly calling our name. These wonderful pictures were just taken a short walk from the hotel. So lucky to have these views from our backyard.

The snow is slowly going away. Yesterday's snow may be the last snow of 2021. Don't worry, we are sure 2022 will have a few more snowprises for you!

This weekend we had some amazing shots taken by our Front Desk Staff Fabi. What is it about a snowy night that is so magical? We love it!

It’s the winter solstice today, which means it is the shortest day of the year. It also means that starting tomorrow, the days start getting longer!! Wishing much light this coming year to all of our friends out there!
