It’s been a whirlwind moving to the farm. Loving every moment and learning sooo much. Thank you to everyone who has helped me get to this moment!! On this day, fields being mowed, fans being installed for Mom and the foal, sunflowers planted and sprouting, farrier was here and evening rides around property with my fur friend. Sunshine, Sunny, was born May 19th and has been home for a week and 1/2. Loving every moment. Sky is a great mom. Elroy and Hershey are lovers to everyone that visits them, especially my grandson. The farm is so beautiful this time of year. Everything is green and coming alive again, but not too many bugs yet.

I started a TikTok page, to show my new found skills at taking care of my farm. Many of my new skills will be: driving the tractor, working with my geldings and caring for them, learning how to care for Momma and foal when they arrive back to the farm, some gardening, haying???, and much much more to come.

This horse became famous. The owner rescued him from a kill pen. A year and a half later, he’s on AFV and won 2nd place. It’s amazing!!!

Let’s talk about Vet Boxes
A lot of people this time of year are wanting to know what is in everyone’s vet box.
There are a few things we suggest such as ace wrap, needles, Banamine, etc, but the main 3 things we keep in our trailer all the time that we supply are:
1) 𝙉𝙚𝙪𝙩𝙧𝙖𝘽𝙖𝙘 𝙥𝙃: keeps the horses hydrated, eating and drinking while on the road, helps prevent colic, and is great to give as a pre run dose for ulcers.
2) 𝙍𝙖𝙥𝙞𝙙 𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙜𝙚 𝙋𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚: We give it before a run for our barrel horse to give her a little more pep, and our Lasix customers love giving it post run to replenish the lost electrolytes, vitamins, and minerals.
3) 𝙒𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙𝘽𝙤𝙨𝙨: have you ever unloaded your horse and have seen that they got cut up while in the trailer? WoundBoss to the rescue!!! Spray 2-3 squirts on the cut, sore, wound, etc and watch it work it’s magic!
