AliAK Kennels, LLC- Alaskan Klee Kai
Once a small state licensed show/breeding kennel, this page is now for sharing pictures and stories I strived for healthy and SOUND Alaskan Klee Kai. Retirement.
I have always been a small country kennel dedicating my efforts on improving the quality of the Alaskan Klee Kai breed. My kennel built with love was given an "excellent" inspection by the Ill Dept of Agriculture, and I am friends with the local Animal Control Officers. I am now retired, and no longer breeding these little darlings. My dream came true, made possible by my loving husband, Pete:
Pool time! Thank you to all those who serve but especially those who gave their lives so that we can be free….Memorial Day weekend 2024

I received this in an email today. “Now that Luk has turned 15 I thought you would like to see these pics that I took this morning. He is an amazing dog. Even at this advanced age he is super sweet and super happy! He has definitely slowed down and is having some issues getting up on the couch and climbing stairs but otherwise is doing really well. I know I have said this before, but he is my love and I am so grateful you chose me to have him when he retired so many years ago. The dog in the background is one of his pups (Blaze). Blaze is almost 14 now!”
How awesome they are doing well. Makes me so happy!
Rest In Peace sweet Keno. You were legendary. 💔💔💔 UPDATE: Keno was living with Corina in So Cal. She didn’t get to say goodbye to Keno and I know this is hard on her as well. She gave Keno a wonderful retirement home. Thank you Corina.
I would like to keep this page up for sharing pictures and stories. Please post your AliAK dogs photos and if you know them, the names of your dog’s parents and/or birthday!
AliAK Kennels will not breed any more AKK litters...Our last intact male, Rumble is being neutered. As much as I love this breed, I do believe breeding must be done with such care and so much thought as to the future of the breed, it cannot be done with one or two dogs and a dream. One must be seriously invested in the health and welfare of the breed, which requires more than owning a stud dog and doing a random breeding here and there. We are proud of all of our dogs and the legacy we leave. We hope the breed will continue to grow in all ways.
More lovely babies!
Isn’t he sweet? Please let me know if you are interested...
Pick of the litter. This boy is exquisite in all ways! Will consider show home for one of the last AliAK puppies to be available.
