Meet Willow, one of our amazing trainees at Duke's Dog Academy. Willow is a beautiful dog with a gentle soul, but like many, she needs a bit of help to build confidence and learn to relax.

Willow's training focuses on creating a safe and supportive environment where she can thrive. We are dedicated to helping her feel secure and confident in various situations. Willow is gradually overcoming her fears and learning to trust and relax in her surroundings.

In these photos, you can see Willow relaxing on her place bed. This is part of her training to understand that it's okay to unwind and take a break. Teaching dogs to relax is just as important as any other command, as it helps them manage stress and anxiety.

We're proud of Willow's progress and excited to see her continue to grow. With consistent training and lots of love, she's well on her way to becoming a more confident and relaxed dog.

It was a pleasure to get to know these pups, for this time around I had a few dogs who needed a boost in confidence! They are sweet sensitive pups and with the help of class I showed them the world isn't so scary. Excited to see them grow and take on the world!

This first group of pups for class was such a fun group to work with, it was a blast to get to know them all and learn their individual quirky personalities. Some came into class on their first day very nervous and scared so we worked on building their confidence up, some came in on their first day with too much stimulation so we learned how to be calm. I am proud of how far these pups came in just a short 4 weeks time.

Friday marked the last session of Duke's Dog Academy training, say hello to the graduates! 🎓 They all did an amazing job and I can't wait to see them succeed in their future endeavors. Congratulations class of September 2023 🎉

Monday August 21st was the first session and boy was it a success, 5 wonderful pups joined the class to learn, work hard, and make new friends.

Each dog has a unique and different personality it was a pleasure to get to know them. This first session was to start a bond and to begin the basics. The pups learned PLACE, which is a great start for your dogs training journey.
