*** Beware of scam emails & texts ***

If you receive an email from the district or any Pastors asking you to help them handle a matter discreetly and send them money or gift cards, it’s a scam.

If you receive an email from the Distirct or a Pastor, sent out of the blue, that has a random link but there is no explanation, it’s spam, don’t click the link.

Multiple Districts are being hit by these scams. Unfortunately whoever is doing it uses key words and sounds sincere in their messages, which makes it believable. Please be careful, look closely at the email address and always feel free to contact the District directly if you aren’t sure.

As a reminder, the event is NOT open to the public due to county guidelines, social distancing and a limited capacity. We appreciate your understanding as we navigate through hosting this important event under some heavy restrictions.

Can I just brag on the pastors and churches of the Anaheim District for a minute?

We have had two critical situations with pastoral families this month, and this district has rallied around them in a way I’ve never before witnessed! The prayer support for these families has been incredible! The outpouring of love and support has been awesome! The financial support is crazy amazing! The pastors and churches of this district gave $15,750 to help cover the unexpected costs of a pastor who ended up in a hospital in Panama City while on vacation (and they raised that in just over a week!!!) They rallied around another pastoral family who were dealing with the unexpected death of their 22 year old son. This district is filled with amazing people who love Jesus and each other, and it is such a blessing to be a part of that! ❤️

This is one way our churches are making an impact in their communities!

Anaheim First is partnering with Kids Can Cosplay to provide gifts for over 500 children this weekend! The names of children have been given to them by the school district. This event grows every year, but this year ran into some difficulties with donations. And then God did a miracle, and a donor came forward with a huge check that will fund all the needs ❤️

Do you ever wish you could sleep in on the weekend? Well, guess what? It’s your lucky day!! Set your clock back one hour before you go to sleep and catch some extra zzzzzzz’s before church tomorrow! This opportunity only comes once a year, so don’t miss it! 😴😴😴😴😴

This smiling face turned another year wiser this weekend. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Jerry!! 🎉 🧁

It is worth noting that the Church of the Nazarene came about by MERGING 3 different groups. So many times we hear of a denominational split creating separate entities, but the Nazarene Church is a result of people coming together!

Happy Anniversary! May you continue to grow and see many more!❤️
