Taking the day off to work on a long overdue project for Mrs. Kempf Home Designs! Some would say that “working” on a day off isn’t really a day off but it’s never “work” when you are doing something you love, for someone you love.

Half day of work to finish up these beams today! Now for a much needed day off….

Partnered up with to take on a different kind of project this week. We built a Water Mapping Prop for KU Fire & Rescue Training Institute. This prop visually demonstrates the impact of air entrainment and water mapping principles during suppression operations on the fireground. Thanks for the help with this one, Dave!

We just put the finishing touches on the cabinets at this basement finish. Thank you to 926 Enterprises LLC for the opportunity for the work. The finish is looking great!

The first quarter of this year has been very busy for us. Saying, “it’s been busy” seems to be an understatement. Keeping up with all the kids’ sports and events. My schedule, Mrs. Kempf Home Design with her work schedule and coaching. Several projects have been going and now many are coming to a close. We are a little worn down around here but with Mother’s Day quickly approaching, I wanted to give a little preview of what’s next on the agenda for the shop.

On to the next job. Makes it better when it’s your favorite kind of work!

Final product and ready for paint! Added a couple pictures of the before. This detail made a huge difference.
