Starting 10:00 am Thursday, campers can start moving in for the race weekend. Denise will be at the gate to give you your site number and camping package.

We need all local racers to text call or Facebook James Marietta by Wednesday evening so we have a headcount and can figure out what classes you would like to run !! cash prizes 💴 and locals are welcome to the big air contests at the end of the night for bigger cash prizes !!

The Munchie Machine will be rolling in to Lake Linden for the Jeff Moyle Memorial Water X Race Friday, August 25th and will be there until we close the gate on Sunday the 27th!! Be prepared for some delicious street tacos, Travis’s Famous Fried Mac and Cheese and I’m sure some other surprises!! Then finish off your meal with one of his scrumptious sweet treats!!

Great news all you breakfast eaters! Doug and Judy will have their kitchen set up at the watercross ready for a home cooked breakfast at 7:30 am est. til close to the noon hour then they switch over to fries 🌭 hot dogs , brats, chicken strips til early afternoon. Both Saturday and Sunday. Friday night from 4-7 some strips, dogs,brats fries. Come hungry their breakfasts are 👍

Two weeks from tonight Outlaw’d will be playing at the Lake Linden Watercross, 8-12pm. Free with a purchased Saturday wristband or a weekend pass otherwise $20 cover at the gate. No carry-ins of alcohol please. We have a full bar with food being provided by some great vendors. See you there!!!

14 days till the air in Lake Linden is filled with the music of Rewind. The band from Houghton, MI promises to have music for many generations to enjoy. Come and enjoy the local group racing from 6 pm til 8 and then enjoy the music of Rewind from 8- midnight. Open bar and food served all night. The Fourth Annual Jeff Moyle Memorial IWA Watercross Race will be held Aug 25-27, 2023 at the Lake Linden Campground. Camping is now open to the community. Only rustic sites are available and generators are allowed. $120 for the weekend of camping. This includes the cover charge for Friday and Saturday nights bands. Rewind and Outlawd. It’s race day #2 $20 to get in for the day lots going on and some great racing action come on down music by high tolerance to night and gate opens at 8pm for free to come dance the night away!!

We are excited for the green flag to drop tomorrow at 6pm it’s going to be wild !!

REMINDER

-No atvs allowed in the campground so please don’t try the cop will be stopping anyone that does not follow the rules

-we are not allowing cars in the campground. Starting at 5pm so please leave them outside the gate and for campers if you are in the main campground we ask you to please move your car out in the field to the left just inside the gate trying to cut down congestion in the campground thank you

-NO CARRY IN ALLOWED

-Don’t forget your lawn chairs and be ready for some awesome racing and big air!!

-helmet
-life vest with 4 buckles or a zipper and 2 buckles
- long shirt and pants/ shoes or boots
-30ft of rope with a float attached to recover sled
- and ready to have a good time!!

Places share get the word out it will be up to the drivers if they want to drag race across or try to do laps we will accommodate all!!

We will have parking for off road vehicles just inside the gate but no use on the grounds period!! This will be watched and if not followed you could be asked to leave

This is the official event page for the Jeff Moyle memorial water x event! Please feel free to like, share and post pictures of the event on this page.

For those that don’t know, water cross is a racing event with high powered snowmobiles racing side by side over open water! The winner takes home the big prize, as the others, well they get soaked.

This event is hosted by the Lake Linden Volunteer fire Department. All proceeds will go to the fire department. This event will be held and the Lake Linden village campground, camping spots are still available.

**This is a family fun event.**

Admission prices.

Full weekend pass: $35

Daily pass: $15

Children 12 and under are free at the gate!

The event kicks off Friday August 21st with the pro open ovals at 5:30pm. Live music at 8pm following the race featuring HIGH TOLERANCE.

Saturday and Sunday August 22nd and 23rd, racing starts at 10am. Live music at 8pm following the race on Saturday featuring MARSHALL LAW.

Beer, food and clothing vendors will be on site all weekend long. More information is soon to come! Stay tuned!
