Installed french doors topped with a glass transom to this home office for added privacy and sound control. Originally a narrower cased archway, the opening had to be widened meaning the wood flooring had to be laced in underneath to complete the project!

Exterior renovations have kicked off on the flip project! Two layers of siding are being removed down to the wall sheathing to prep for the exterior facelift. The addition of the patio door wall during the kitchen phase of the remodel resulted in the need for stairs and with limited space, a railing would have obstructed the walkway so the decision was made to simply return the stairs into the house for a finished look and functionality.

Finishes! The backsplash and floating shelves are in and the kitchen is looking great and beginning to feel complete!

Things have been moving along with the Romeo flip. Cabinets & trim, paint, countertops… Now all the finishes. Everything’s turning out great!

Wrapped this fireplace built-in wall up yesterday. A beautiful and cozy addition to this waterfront home.

Recently completed coffered ceiling! Im not going to lie and say the sharp angles weren’t a challenge! Scroll to the end for the before pic! What a transformation!!

Drywall is in! Time for cabinets to be installed and the kitchen to take shape!

The final interior phase of the Romeo flip is underway. Walls were eliminated in order to open space up for the kitchen area as well as a laundry/mud room. Always an exciting time once the dust clears and the imagination starts running wild! Stay tuned!

Added these built ins to either side of the fireplace adding functionality and character to this cozy great room!

Absolutely thrilled with how the stairway turned out at the flip house! From sanding and refinishing the existing original oak staircase, adding the paneled accent wall, to building the box newels and iron balustrade, this phase of the project was a massive effort, but the work has paid off and the results speak for themselves!

Painting is underway on the main floor of the flip project! It’s coming along quite nicely!!

Coffered ceiling to dress up this home office! Another great client/contractor experience, working together on the design and proportions to achieve a finished product that has exceeded their expectations! That’s a recipe for success!

Put on my tile shoes the past couple days. First time working with large format tiles- 2’x4’! I’d say it went quite well! Nice straight lines=happy clients! 📐📏👍🏻

Finished up the mudroom cubbies today. Ready for paint and stain!

Fireplace mantel and stone surround completed today after a short wait on the hearth installation.

Closed in a 9’ wide, jambed opening and repurposed French doors the homeowner had found on Marketplace for $25! Looks like they were always there!

Building these barn style doors today for the farmhouse basement remodel.

Finished up the accent walls today! I’m not sure who’s happier with the way these came out- me or the homeowners! Either way they were a pleasure to work with and thrilled with the finished product!

Started the week off with these accent walls.

Started framing in partition walls to finish off the basement of a beautiful century old farmhouse today. Excited to see this dark dungeon transform into a clean, functional living space for this young family to enjoy!
