Meet Duke! You may have seen a few posts about him already. Its been one week since this sweet special needs boy arrived from Healing Hearts Animal Rescue and Refuge. Now that he is settled in, first thing on his treatment plan agenda is to address this head bobbing and shaking. Dr. Brown is slowly integrating multiple Chinese Herbal Prescriptions alongside Western Medicine to address the underlying TCVM patterns associated with his chronic conditions. In TCVM, abnormal repetitive behavior is due to what is called a Shen Disturbance. Head shaking and bobbing is a Yang imbalance often secondary to Excess Fire and local Qi Stagnation. Follow along on his healing journey. π΄πβ―οΈ
