I'm sure everyone here knows Dad (Mike) was a great artist. I had this done today. It was created from a drawing Dad did. With it on my shoulder, even on the busiest of days, I will see it and think of him.
The tattoo artist did a pretty good job. There are some flaws, but you wouldn't notice them unless you compared the two closely.
I'm gonna miss that guy, but will always have him with me.

A prayer for our family
“Father God, Creator of us and this world we live in; Savior and Lover of our souls,
I come to you this day, when family, friends and loved ones are gathering and thinking of the memorial for Mike. I pray for and am seeking comfort and the peace that passes all understanding for each person. I pray that your mercy and compassion be extended today to rest upon us all.
I thank you Father God, that Mike was able to become Your child through accepting the sacrificial death of Your Son for the atonement of his sins. I praise you Father that he is living with you today free of cancer, beginning his eternity and new life in heaven.
I ask that you cover this service with Your peace. Also that the Holy Spirit would touch hearts and lives, making people aware of and questioning their own eternal destination.
May there be laughter in remembrance of Mike's life. May there be tears because he was loved so very much. Most of all may there be love drawing us together as a family for those both near and far.I
I ask this all in Jesus's precious name,

UPDATE FROM DAN RYANT: “Good morning everyone. I want to update you on Dads condition.
Last night was a major turning point for him. He is no longer able to respond to what we say or ask. His eyes don’t blink, even when provoked. He isn’t able to complain about pin, but we are treating him for it anyway, not knowing if he is still capable of feeling it
At this point he is essentially only breathing. We are keeping drops in his eyes to keep them clear and comfortable.
He is surrounded by Mike, Christy, Nolan, Liesl and myself.
We will keep you posted. At this point, it shouldn’t be too long before he is reunited with Mat and Mom.

Christy Ryant’s post: To our dear friends and family, as you may know Dad has been battling cancer the last two years. He’s been fighting hard and long. He recently was admitted to hospital and we were given the choice of comfort care at the hospital or hospice at home with family. In his hospital room surrounded by his family, the dr leaned down to him and asked him if he wanted to stay in the hospital or be home with family..we knew what he wanted but when he said “family” we all smiled and made it so. So our family invites you to come and share your love, prayers, and hugs with him in his last days. He is comfortable in his home with us here with him. ❤️❤️❤️

As of yesterday Uncle Mike is home with hospice. He was eating a little and drinking water. He is in very good hands. He has the most amazing daughter in-laws and sons anyone could ask for 😘 please continue praying for our family. Any time any of you need prayer please come and post in here or private message me. You matter to me!
