My Story – My husband served in the US Military for nearly 11 Years. Our Health Insurance needs during this time changed significantly. Because of the military medical coverage, just how significant those changes were didn’t really register for us. During those 11 years, I was diagnosed with Hashimotos and we added the expenses of two children and their various medical needs.

Once we were released from the security of the Tricare system we found ourselves in the uncomfortable position of having to accept an extremely expensive (almost $1100/mo) group plan that provided marginal coverage for our needs and had rather high deductibles ($6000). We felt trapped. We couldn’t go without, but the cost of coverage was financially crippling during this transitional period for us.

This led me to start asking questions and ultimately led me to seek my insurance license because I found there were so many other options for families in similar situations and that available information and education are sorely lacking.

So, here I am. I want to provide information, answer your questions, and do everything I can to help you get the right types of coverage for your family. How can I help?
