Unfortunately we’ve heard at least a dozen of these statements this month alone, and we simply can’t help everyone who calls.
Spay/neuter and adopt from your local shelters, folks.

“Free to a good home!”
“Has to go today!”
“I’m moving…”
“I’m having a baby…”
“I just can’t give him the time he needs…”
“I work!”
“Just an oops litter!”
“I bred her and the pups ain’t sellin like they use to.”
“You’ll find her a new home though, right?”
“He’s aggressive and tries to kill other animals, bit a child, but he’s a really good dog! What do you mean he’ll be put to sleep?!”
“My dogs pups never end up in shelters.”
“This dog is worth a lot of money that I’m surrendering to you!”
“I’ve got a dog to donate to ya!”
“Shes older and just hates the new puppy we got!”
“I just adopted him a week ago from ____ pound.”
“She was a Facebook rehome and they didn’t tell me that she _____.”
“We rescued her.”
“She has separation anxiety and eats walls and doors.”
“He needs training.”
“We got them both as puppies but now they’re just too much.”
“No she’s not spayed.”
“No they’ve never had shots.”
“No he’s never really been on a leash before.”
“She can scale a fence, eat her way out of a kennel, cant contain her.”
“He’s never been around other dogs.”
“She doesn’t like men or children, I think she was abused.”
“Hes food aggressive.”
“She just needs a farm to run!”

Who is looking for a foster or forever little friend? We can help! CeCe is looking for her forever home! We don’t have her here at the farm, but her current folks are fosters for her original owner who is elderly. His wife passed away, and CeCe was her dog. At 86, he’s unable to keep up with her puppy spirit, although she’s likely around 1 1/2 years old.

Contact us through messenger if you want more info! 💕

Anyone missing these babies near Peavine Rd in Crossville, TN? Both males, one has a collar. We do not have them but the folks that do would like to return them to their owners as soon as possible. 💕

Sharing for a friend of the rescue… we do not have this baby…

‼️ LOOKING FOR A FOSTER ‼️

This little dude ended up on my property up here in Deer Lodge off 62 near the Old Sky View Resort & Tavern, I was on a waitlist with MoCo Mutts and then now I’ve been told no to accepting this dog to their kennel. I can not keep this dog, I can’t afford another dog. He’s quirky, still skiddish and shy. Maybe a year old, good with other dogs once he warms up to them. I don’t think he ever met a cat until he ended up on my property. I have not been able to find his owners. I’ve had him for a week now, and I can’t any longer. House trained, crate trained, likes to mimic sirens. 😂

HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who has reached out to us about the puppies we’ve been helping! We are excited to announce that only one male puppy is left from the September litter and he is pending adoption, with a waiting list! 🐶
Just a reminder that we still have access to the 3 older puppies (pictured here) who still need homes. They will be vetted this weekend and scheduled for spaying/neutering. ❤️
Update: And don’t forget about Puddin’ who is a fully vetted, neutered boy who came to us over the summer. He’s a small boy whose legs just keep growing! I added his dating app picture so you can see how handsome he’s becoming! 💕😂

UPDATE: And then there were 5… The little girl in the first picture has been adopted! 😍

Here they are… the final six! These puppies were born on September 26th and are ready for you!
(If you would prefer an older puppy, there are several options for you as well.
And don’t forget about Puddin’… he has grown attached to couch laying and snuggles, and is fully vetted and fixed! He’s grown taller… he’s got redbone coonhound lanky legs, a boxer personality and that husky attitude! 💕

Puppy shenanigans this morning…. Nine gorgeous puppies went to see the vet for their very first shots and worming. Huge thanks to Dr. Holt and his awesome team at Homestead Animal Medical Clinic, PLLC for giving these babies a healthy start!
Three of these babies are already claimed by their adopters, so message us for info on the six that are still available! 💕

Okay, y’all…. We are not a dog/cat rescue. We have been in situations where we have taken them, but we don’t have kennels or cages except for our own personal dogs.

That said, we have a family in need of some help with spaying/neutering costs, and we will be assisting with placing some of their puppies into their forever homes! Vet costs are high, so any donations would be appreciated.
And if you’re in the mood to adopt, we’d be thrilled to help! 💕

Message me for details… Puppy pics coming soon! 🐶

Okay, so many of you have commented what an awesomely cute puppy our little Puddin is, and you are all 100% correct! Would you guess his breed? The vet said he’s a boxer mix… turns out the vet was 10.7% correct. 🥰
We were so curious, we had him tested…. Have you ever heard of a Redbone Coonhound?? We hadn’t until now. Check out his DNA breed results!
(Then message us to let us know you want to take him home!) 😁

Puddin’s potential adopters fell through, so he is back on the market for a permanent home! Message us if you’d like to have more info on this super sweet boy! 🥰

Updated pics of the babies born yesterday. It was a surprise, for sure! ❤️

Well… I guess it happens to the best of us. Back in May, I agreed to take in a mama Guinea pig and her 2 babies that were approximately 3-4 weeks old. They came with another adult female of unknown age. I was told the babies were 1 boy and 1 girl, and when they’re that young, it’s difficult to tell.
So about 2 weeks after they arrived, I separated the girls from the boy. No unplanned pregnancies here.
Fast forward to this evening, I was feeding the pigs and when I got to the cage with the 3 girls, I saw something move. Yep, I found two itty bitty Guinea pig babies, born today. Since there was no way one of them was already pregnant when I took them, the male had to be in the cage. Dang it.

So I now have 2 really tiny, adorable piggy babies who will be available for adoption in the next 4-6 weeks. I’ll have to get more pictures tomorrow… they both fit in one hand, and I’m not coordinated enough to get a better picture this evening.

We’ve been keeping this little guy on the down low for a bit, waiting for more solid information we could share. On Wednesday, July 19th I was connected with a couple who were following behind a vehicle, when they saw something being thrown out of it.

They quickly realized the “thing” that was thrown out of the vehicle was a puppy… People are so cruel. He was covered in ticks and fleas, and had multiple injuries consistent with road rash, and a wound on his neck that was bordering on infection and draining not so great looking stuff. They cleaned him up, tended to his wounds the best they could and brought him to us for further care.

Eight days later, we’re calling him Puddin. There were no fractures (thankfully)! His wounds are healing, and the wound on his neck was determined to probably be punctures from a dog bite. There are no signs of infection, he has received his first set of shots, along with flea/tick and heartworm prevention, and he is gaining trust in people again.

Turns out he’s actually about 4 months old, possibly a boxer mix, and will be ready for adoption once we approve an appropriate forever home! We’ve already had some interest, so act fast! 🥰 (I didn’t get the number of the couple at Rural King last Saturday who donated toward his care… if that was you, please message me!)
