From relentless rains
From destructive earthquakes
From drought and pests
From deadly floods and storm surges
From red tides and fish kills
From deadly lightning
From violence and wars
From corruption and sin
From criminality and terrorism
From selfishness and indifference

Leader: Divine Jesus, You calmed the storms and walked over the waters. Give us fine weather. Shield us from distress. Drive away from our land all calamities and disasters of nature. We entrust ourselves to You now and forever. Amen.

“CARINA” IS NOW CROSSING TAIWAN AND NEARING THE NORTHERN BOUNDARY OF THE PHILIPPINE AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY (PAR).

: 465 km North of Itbayat, Batanes
: HANGIN: 150 km/h BUGSO: 185 km/h
: Northward at 20 km/h

Ang Hanging Habagat na pinalakas ni SUPER TYPHOON Carina ay magdadala ng katamtaman hanggang sa matinding pag ulan (moderate to intense rainfall) sa iba't ibang lokalidad sa kanlurang bahagi ng Luzon ngayong gabi hanggang Biyernes.
Inaasahan rin na magdadala ng malakas na bugso ng hangin ngayong gabi, sa Huwebes, at sa Biyernes. Ang mga marinero ng maliliit na sasakyang pandagat, kabilang ang lahat ng uri ng motorbanca, ay pinapayuhan na huwag makipagsapalaran sa dagat sa ilalim ng mga kundisyong ito.
Dahil sa nararanasang patuloy na pagbuhos ng pag-ulan, pinapaalalahanan ang lahat na maging alerto sa mga posibilidad na pagguho ng lupa at mga flashfloods.

CARINA WEAKENS INTO A TYPHOON AS IT LOOPS NEAR THE COAST OF TAIWAN.

: Northwestward at 15 km/h
