It was said that eating late caused you to retain more calories as fat, so the calories โ€œcounted as more.โ€ โฃ

This just isnโ€™t true. โฃ
โฃโฃโฃ
๐—ช๐‡๐€๐“ you eat and ๐‡๐Ž๐—ช ๐Œ๐”๐‚๐‡ you eat are WAY more important than ๐—ช๐‡๐„๐ you eat. โฐโฃโฃโฃ
โฃโฃโฃ
๐Ÿ‘‡๐ŸผSome reasons that this myth gained traction:โฃโฃโฃ
๐Ÿ) ๐‹๐š๐ญ๐ž ๐ž๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ž๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ž๐š๐ญ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ž. People who eat later tend to consume more calories than those who eat earlier. More calories = more body fat. โฃโฃโฃ

Whether the goal is fat loss, muscle gain, increased cardiovascular fitness, improved energy levels, or any other feature under the sun, quite often the results are slow, not what we hoped for, or simply not there at all. โฃ

If youโ€™re looking to make a change, the first step you need to take is in your diet. โฃ
โฃ
There are 2 main components of diet we need to focus on: โฃ
โžก๏ธ What we are eatingโฃ
โžก๏ธ How much we are eatingโฃ

Unfortunately, most of the dieting world focuses only on how much youโ€™re eating, when in reality, what you are eating is much more important. โฃ

โ”So what should you be eating? โฃ

Well, this is different for everyone. Depending on your body composition, your lifestyle and activities, and a few other factors, there is some variability here. However, there are a few things that apply across the board. Most importantly, you should be eating real whole foods, no added sugars, no additives or preservatives, no hormonesโ€ฆ REAL food, fresh fruits and veggies, lean meats, whole grains, nuts and seeds. This is the best place to begin your journey. โฃ
