Spring is here. The Merchant on Market is using shipping crates found in the former New York Wire building to brighten the Market Street entrance. More will be added next week. Visit the Market and her sister space The Wireworks Exchange which is also within the building. 80 + crafters, makers, artists and lots of vintage furniture, clothing and an upscale Flea Market. Creations, by George, is seeking a person to work part time, year round, at one of two craft/maker markets they manage in the former New York Wire building located at 441 East Market Street, York. Hours will vary and will include some weekends and an evening if a special event is scheduled. Responsibilities include managing the customer service area which involves cashing out customers and assisting visitors as needed. Basic office duties are included. Before opening and at closing, our employees walk the market, arrange out of place items, and ensure the space is clean. Interested candidates should forward an email to [email protected].
