We appreciate our veterans! Veterans get free admission with ID on Veterans Day, adults with them (paid on the same transaction) are $1.00 off adults and.50 cents off each child.
So amazing, the sights and sounds of the deer at feeding time. We feed in the morning and visitors feed all day long. This was just before the evening feed, on a busy weekend day, and they're very vocal anticipating their food. The very squeaky vocals come from the Japanese sika deer. Did you know each species of deer makes different sounds?
The Grand Canyon Deer Farm Pumpkin Patch starts Friday, September 22nd to October 29th! Come feed the deer and browse our selection of pumpkins. There is hay maze for the little ones and plenty of photo opportunities. We are open every day from 9am to 6pm. Starting October 16th, we are open from 10am to 5pm everyday.
Meet Matilda our first orphan bat rescue of the year. This video was taken after she recieved milk❤️. She has now graduated to mealworms! NEVER TOUCH A BAT BARE-HANDED! I am vaccinated, trained, and a licensed bat rehabilitator.
Gabi and Coco had the zoomies after breakfast this morning. They're going to be back at the Farm soon with the rest of the herd. They're getting bigger and stronger every day.❤️
This fawns birth was witnessed by several visitors at the Farm. She was born Monday, the 10th. She's a beautiful baby girl.❤️
Sweet Patches, our 2 year old bottle fed doe, had her fawn July 7th. This makes 6 babies and counting. We possibly have 3 more to come this fawning season.❤️
Who needs a TV with this entertaining little Quillie Nelson hanging out in our house. His running forward, sideways and backwards is so fun to watch.
We didn't have a white Christmas, but the deer are thrilled about the white New Years day snowfall. We will be closing at 3pm as the snowfall is coming fast now and we want our crew to make it home safely. We wish all of our friends and family a very Happy New Year!
