HE DID IT!

As a follow up to an earlier post, Frank Howatt finished the grueling 200.2-mile, 36,857 feet elevation Tahoe 200 Endurance Run. What an accomplishment. I'll bet Frank will have some great stories from his journey on the trails around Lake Tahoe. Congratulations Frank and thanks David Nichols for providing the finish line photo.

It's amazing what you can accomplish if you set your mind to it!

TESTING THE LIMITS!

We give a shout out to avid local endurance runner Frank Howatt from Lexington.

On Friday night, June 14th Frank set out to conquer the Tahoe 200 (MILE) Endurance Run at Lake Tahoe, NV. This is a 105-hour (time limit) journey around the rim of Lake Tahoe that ends tonight (Tuesday, 6/18) at 6pm Mountain Time. And yes, it is hilly with 36,857 feet of elevation change for the 200.2 mile course.

The last we heard Frank was still at it. We wish him well in this incredible personal challenge/journey. You've got this Frank!

We are all about fun finish line photos but you always need to remember there are people behind you.

This finish celebration strikes me as inappropriate for a marathon and especially the Boston Marathon. I feel bad for the people behind this group who likely won't have a good photo of their significant accomplishment.

Always remember the other guy/gal out there working just as hard or harder than you are!
