Last week, our Getting Ready for 4K students embarked on an exciting camping adventure! 🏕️✨ They got creative by painting adorable bear masks 🐻🎨, practiced counting twinkling stars 🌟🔢, and had a blast during free play in the classroom! What a fun-filled week! 🤗

On August 2, 2024, Ryan and Marin, seniors at Little Chute High School, graduated from the Wisconsin American Legion Law Enforcement Career Academy (WALLECA). 👮‍♀️🚔 The academy is located at the Wisconsin State Patrol Academy on Fort McCoy, near Tomah, WI.

WALLECA offered physical fitness 💪 training coupled with classroom 📝 instruction and hands-on training provided by law enforcement agencies from around the state. Topics of instruction included crime scene 🕵️‍♀️🔍 investigation, fi****ms training, de-escalation and arrest tactics, OWI enforcement, human trafficking, tactical response, ethics, and team-building exercises.

Ryan and Marin from Little Chute were selected as members of the class of only 40 students from across Wisconsin. Their selection was based on demonstrating strong moral and ethical standards 🙌 within our community, current academic 💯 standing, and participation in extra-curricular activities.

Instructors at the academy had high praises 👏👏 for the outstanding performance of Ryan and Marin. Both students plan to pursue some aspect of public service after graduation 🎓 that their completion of this course has shaped. Way to go, Ryan and Marin!

❓Who: All high school students and parents who intend to participate in a sport during the 2024-25 school year

🗓️ When: Monday, August 5th at 6:00pm. Registration begins at 5:30

📍Where: Little Chute High School Auditorium

This is a mandatory meeting for those students who will be participating in athletics this upcoming school year and their parent/guardian. School registration must also be completed before the student is eligible to attend the first day of practice for a fall sport.

Please bring any updated physicals or alternate year cards to the meeting. Following the Extra Curricular meeting, there will be a fall sports meeting for those participating with their coaches. 🏈⚽️👟📣
