Sweet clients, I know it’s frustrating for me to always be reaching out to reschedule especially when you have to plan around your appointments that have already been set for weeks or months and I know there are plenty of other professionals who will not change their schedules or try to move people around if someone has to cancel but today I chose to work instead of attempting to rearrange my schedule to make my girls last soccer game. I don’t always make it work. A lot of times I have to choose between letting my clients down or letting my kids down because of poor planning on my end or something coming up before I had a chance to block my schedule off and it really makes me rethink my career choice.
I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to those of you who work with me, and feel comfortable to communicate with me when you aren’t fully satisfied with my services and giving me a chance to make it right rather than just choosing to go else where. ❤️

Hey friends! I’d like to share some exciting news- (for me)
I’m going to have a bunion repair surgery on my foot completely free because I’m participating in a clinical trial in San Antonio. My surgery is scheduled the week of May 12th so if you have an appointment that week on Wednesday Thursdays or Friday I will be reaching out to reschedule it before I leave or when I get back.
Thankfully I don’t have to be on my feet to work so I’ll be coming back immediately. I cannot pass up this opportunity as it’s completely free and I’m even going to be paid. This surgery is extremely expensive so it’s a great opportunity. 🙏

Hey friends, I'm at the doctor again and will be getting antibiotics this time. I was seen on Sunday and was swabbed for Covid, strep, flu, and RSV. I was negative and sent home and advised to take otc cough medicine and Tylenol.
My cough has progressed and if had a couple of other weird symptoms that prompted me to come in again today to re test.
Thankfully I'm still negative for all of the things but if I have a virus it could be contagious for 10-14 days according to the nurse practitioner I saw.
Going to start antibiotics today, but I prefer to stay home until my cough eases up. It's really hard to work with a cough and a runny nose having to excuse myself every few minutes.
This is really unfortunate timing as I truly cannot afford to not work so close to having a baby but all existing appointments that are scheduled over the next several days are subject to change depending on my health and progress.

Thank you in advance for understanding and if you need in immediately I will be happy to connect you with another lash tech that *may* be able yo get you in sooner than I can. ❤️❤️

Hey friends, I just want to give a friendly reminder to please stay home if you are sick or if you have a cough. I understand not all coughs are contagious, but if you do happen to have a cough, please wear a mask to your appointment or kindly reschedule with me, I'm three weeks away from delivering a baby and I cannot afford to be sick or I'd also like to add under no circumstances will I be able to continue a service if you have a sty on your eye. If I see a sty or if you mention that you have a stye, I will immediately reschedule your appointment moving forward no exceptions.

Hey friends, here is a friendly reminder that I will be on vacation on August 14th-20th so if you have to reschedule an existing appointment during this month then I may have to refer you to another lash tech. Anytime I take time off I have hardly any wiggle room and it's hard to accommodate last minute requests. I understand that things come up which is why I do not enforce a strict cancellation policy for the time being- but unfortunately I'm not always able to find a solution which is something to keep in mind when I have my baby.

I have already discussed in person with most people that I will not be taking a maternity leave. I will be back at work one week after my delivery for 3-4 days a week for 6-8 weeks.
This is my way to try to avoid my clients having to seek someone else but again, my schedule will be extremely limited so if you don't already have your appointments scheduled for the rest of the year then you may want to book ahead to secure a spot.
I will be giving referrals to those that have to reschedule and or aren't able to secure a spot.

I have very exciting news!
As of August 1st I will be moving my business to a new location just less than a mile away from where I am now.
I have stumbled across this new spot super last minute and had to make a quick decision. I have been wanting a bigger space to call my own since I got my start but I had to be patient and wait for the right time.
Not only will I be moving but I will also be adding additional services to my list!! Spray tanning? PMU? Brow waxing/tinting? Professional makeup?
Be on the lookout for what is to come. I can't wait to share what's in store.

Hey ladies! I want to make a quick announcement for a couple of things that I will be changing in order to improve my service and your experience.

1. If you have any unused coupons/ gift cards etc. please try to use them!

2. I will no longer be discounting any of my services for any one whether you're a close friend or family or have been with me for a while. I love you all dearly but I simply cannot afford to do this anymore.
I have always done stamp cards, and given a completely free refill on birthdays for my clients as a way to say thank you and I'll continue to do this.

3. Beginning September. 1st all 2 week fills will be $55 for an hour and 15 minutes. This will give me enough time to wash your lashes and prep before the application process. In the past I have requested that you come in with your lashes already washed but sometimes it's a hit or miss so this way it can be more consistent and better retention.
All 3 week fills /volume fills will remain the same @ 1.5 hour but will now be $70.
The cost for my supplies continue to increase and I have not raised my price since November 2021. I've always tried to remain affordable despite investing thousands into my education over the years. I will be offering a longer lash session for everyone prior to the price increase at no additional charge to ensure maximum coverage.

4. Cancellations: I have never enforced a cancellation policy or charged a cancellation fee or a no-show fee. Instead if someone cancels I will ususslly try to move people around so that I don't have to sit doing nothing during that time slot, but it is simply not fair to my clients that come in on time as scheduled. I understand that life happens, so if you must cancel last minute/ same day then I'll be charging a $20 fee that cannot be added to a future appointment. If you do not agree to this, then I can no longer work for you.
