"You're needed on the bridge sir!"
"Knock on my door! Knock next time!"
"Yes, sir!"
"Did you see anything?"
"No, sir! I didn't see you playing with your dolls again."
It takes a lot of pins to get all of those gathers to cooperate on a hood this epic. This is what happens when we put an Apprentice Cloak hood on a Master's Robe. You might be able to join the Council, but it doesn't mean that you'll receive the rank of Master.
Heads up for anyone that would like to support The Mystik Seamstress on Patreon or any other creators on Patreon.
Apple is requiring that Patreon use their in-app purchasing system and remove all other billing systems from the Patreon iOS app by November 2024. This means that starting in November, new memberships purchased in the iOS app will be subject to Apple's 30% App Store fee.
This will only effect new supporters that join using the iOS version. If you sign up to support any creator using the desktop/web or Android versions, you will not be forced to pay the extra 30%.
In honor of the beginning of Spooky Season, we introduce The Adventurer Cloak. Basic cloak with a roomy hood that is good for all kinds of adventures. Available now in our standard black and brown twill. Custom colors and fabrics available upon request.

Thank you to all of our customers and especially those that have shared images with us over the years. Our robes and cloaks always look best on you as opposed to our more wooden models, though Mr. Stud and Sophie do the best they can.
We look forward to continuing to make your robe and cloak dreams a reality.
May the Fourth be with you all.
Prototyping can be such a messy business.
Works in progress. Now it needs a hood and then some minor tweaks. Also, say hello to our newest assistant who has stubbornly refused to tell us her name yet.
We wear a lot of hats around here.
A taste of things to come. Meet The Adventurer Cloak. Half circle cloak with the same hood as our Adept Cloak. As with our other offerings, it will be offered in our standard brown or black poly/cotton twill with other colors or fabrics by request.
Another shot of the mystery project. Currently in shambles. It'll all come together in the end.
And now for something completely different...
What could it be?
Big & Tall customers lead to big and tall packages.
When you have to press a seam, but can't find your clapper and you have some extra lightsaber parts.
In 2023, we were commissioned to do a Jedi wedding robe for groom and ultimately wound up making almost his entire outfit and several accessories. Unfortunately, many disasters throughout the year caused us to have a collapsed schedule so we weren't able to get the full outfit glamour shots that we would have liked.
Instead, here are a bunch of shots of bits and parts of the whole that we're really proud of. Sadly, none of the robe shots turned out.
Merry Sithmas to all of you big and small. We hope that you have had and continue to have a wonderful holiday season and we wish you all the best of whatever winter holiday(s) in which you partake.
If you are needing any last minute gifts, we do offer e-gift cards in our webstore for that special someone or even for yourself. We won't judge.
This year we received a request to make a Jedi robe for a cosplay wedding. Ultimately, we wound up making almost the entire outfit. This is the wearable prototype of the reversible robe with removable train that also acts as a cape. This is the train cape in some of the variations that it can be worn on its own.
Excuse the mess. This year has been hectic. The ensemble fit the client much better than our usual model.

Happy Father's Day to all of the Fathers, Dads, Spacedads, and others.
Happy Pride everyone! Thanks to our wonderful customers' specialty orders we have almost a complete rainbow. Currently, we have a red cloak in the works and hopefully by this time next year, we can add some kind of yellow. We have a lot going on behind the scenes right now, so keep your eyes and ears open.
In the meantime, let us take a moment to appreciate all of yours and our survival and perserverence. We've managed to make it 25 years as a business. Here's to many more years to come for us and all of you. May the Force be with you all!
Indeed.
Utinni!
Happy Mother's Day to all of the Space Moms of all types. May the Force be with You!
