Community Mindfulness Practice- FREE Guided Meditations
Tuesdays:
UCSB's Department of Health & Wellness offers free, weekly guided meditation sessions through 'Community Mindfulness Practice' during the academic year for students, staff and faculty. These sessions are availble at the following:
Tuesdays: 1-2 PM with Dawa Tarchin Phillips
SRB, 1st Floor Conference Room
Fridays: 1-2 PM with Spencer Sherman
South Hall, Room 1623

Mindfulness Meditation Practice
UCSB's Department of Health & Wellness offers free, weekly guided meditation sessions through 'Mindfulness Meditation Practice' during the academic year for students, staff, and faculty.
These spring 2018 sessions are available at the following:
Mondays: Outdoor Compassion Meditation
Time: 12:30-1 pm with Emily Teter & Michael Takahara
Location: Science Green Lawn (Lawn in front of Physical Sciences) (Rain Location: Girvetz 2115)
Tuesdays: Mindfulness Basics
Time: 1:00-1:30 pm with Joanna Hill and Lorie Morris
Location: Student Resource Building, 1st floor conference room
Thursdays (4/12, 4/26, 5/10, 5/24): Trans & Q***r Meditation
TIme: 12-12:30 pm with Jason Stone & Jackie Ovalle
Location: Resource Center for Sexual & Gender Diversity
Fridays: Mindfulness in the Borderlands
Time: 1-1:30pm with Jackie Ovalle and Michael Takahara
Location: South Hall, Room 1623
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing. If you are unable to arrive at the start time, you are welcome to join us- please enter quietly.
Meditation is offered throughout the school year, but not during quarter breaks or major holidays.
