Hey everyone I am opening a couple days a week and taking 1-2 clients a day to ease back into things

Didn’t get the best news from my doc today, but I have to heal or I won’t be able to work at all.

I can do some taping, today we are doing a taping for lymph drainage in the neck section that can help reduce turkey neck. 💛

I am hoping to be back to work at the end of may, I won’t be taking my typical day of clients to ensure I don’t over do it.

Shoulder update: 2 weeks post op. I’m out of my sling today per doc orders unless I go somewhere busy, I have still limited range of motion but I was given an exercise to start working on that, my next post op is in 4 weeks.
Inshallah everything continues to heal well so I can be back to my clients! I miss all of you like crazy!

I am just about 1 week post op from my shoulder surgery. My bicep tendon had to be reattached, and they shaved off my bone spur. I’ll be back in 5 weeks!

I hate to make a post like this, but I may step away from massage for a while to take care of my shoulder. I got diagnosed with osteoarthritis & I’m in extreme pain.
I will keep everyone updated.

I got my MRI results back and it’s not bad but it’s not answering my questions. I have mild osteoarthritis & inflammation. I will be taking a break from deep tissue, but I have other modalities I can use.
Gua Sha is a great alternative to deep tissue and I use a tool (less pressure on me)
I can do cupping & hot stone, and hot towels.
I can do reiki & shiatsu massage.
I’m also versed in cranial sacral technique.

Thursday 1pm for 60 or 90 mins
Friday 12:30pm for 60 or 90mins
Or as late as 2pm

I have an opening Tuesday the 16th at 12:45pm

BREAKING: Boeing and Alaska have found a solution. The problem has been fixed.

Many of you know my motorcycle accident in 2013 is what opened my heart to being a holistic provider and I became a massage therapist in 2015.

10 years after that accident my shoulder is giving me some grief

I will be stepping back from doing deep tissue services at this time.

I will be taking 2 weeks off in Feb to rest as I have bursitis and tendinitis in my Right shoulder and starting in my left.

I got the opportunity to massage a 101 year old gentleman today. He was amazing to talk to, I always imagine the things he’s witnessed and all the changes that have happened in his lifetime! I hope he reschedules! Truly an honor! ❤️ this is why I do what I do
