June was a fun month at both Tipsy Taco and Sangria's Mexican Grill! We held a competition for staff for punctuality, sidework and overall performance. We are so proud of the team for all the hard work they put in!

Their prize? Getting to have off July 4 to spend time with friends and family. It's warming to see the team comradery that has blossomed, with a lot of staff even spending the day together to celebrate the holiday.

Therefore, BOTH restaurants will be closed July 4. See you all tomorrow!

As many of you are, we were devastated to hear about the loss of Matt Miller, owner of McGuiness Irish Pub. Matt wore many hats, contributed so much to the community, and treated everyone as family.

Matt was a great representation of a strong business owner who cared so deeply about bringing businesses together, collaborating for our community, and being the true face of his business that he cared so deeply for.

I had the privilege of working with Matt for many events over the years and will deeply miss seeing that smile greet us at the door.

In honor of Matt, we will be offering the "Matt Miller" all month long. This unique cocktail is a mix of Jameson, Lime and Agave. All proceeds will go towards Matt's beloved Irish Fest.

Matt's last message to me was Sunday morning, wishing us a happy and successful Cinco de Mayo. He was ALWAYS a cheerleader for us, supporting us for years. We are so grateful that we got to spend Sunday with Matt, watching him soak up the sunshine at our outdoor block party, watching live music and laughing with friends.

Cheers to our amigo, Matt Miller. You will be deeply missed.

Sangria's & Tipsy Taco will be open for lunch today, 1/9/24. We will be closely watching the weather and updating as needed. We are staffed with local employees with very minimal commute to ensure the safety of everyone. Thank you, and stay safe!

We made it! Construction is finally complete! It was quite the project! Huge shout out to Made New Restoration for making it happen!!

With that being said, we will be saying adios to our kitchen patio and moving back indoors!

We will be closing at 7pm on Thursday, October 26 to make the move. We will open normal business hours October 27. Please visit us at Tipsy Taco after 7pm as we will still be offering a limited Sangria's menu during this time.

Thank you so much for your understanding during this time! We appreciate you! Sangria's has the privilege of supporting a lot of employees and their families. We could have closed for 2 weeks, but decided to stay open for the staff, and we couldn't have done so without your support!

Special announcement!

As you know, part of the charm of Sangria's is the location. What started off as a home in the late 1800s (picture below taken 50 years ago) was converted into a restaurant over 100 years later. With that, it is time to replace the sub floor in our kitchen.

Beginning October 11, we will begin construction. During this time, we will be moving our kitchen to the patio. As there will be space and equipment constraints, we will not be able to heat skillets for fajitas or the lava rock bowls for Molcajetes due to having to use disposable serving dishes. Take out orders will not be affected, nor will our regular business hours.

We are excited to announce that during this time we will be offering all of our specialties and fajitas, as well as sides and garnishes, next door at Tipsy Taco! We will be sending cooks to ensure that the dishes remain just as consistent as the ones that you have grown to love!

So grateful to all of you who voted for us for Best Mexican Restaurant, those that patronize both Sangria's and Tipsy Taco, and to all of the employees that hustle every day to make these places what they are.

We are fortunate to live in an area with a lot of fantastic options for great eats! Naturally a voting process can politicize things, so we definitely want to give a shout out to all the restaurants in the area that we have built relationships with that have supported us and the community for many years. We appreciate you so much! There's a lot of silent support between us restaurant owners/operators that the public doesn't see, and lots of love, ideas and occasionally tortillas are shared ;) ! Hola amigos! Due to inclement weather, Sangria's will open 3-9pm, Friday Dec 23. Tipsy Taco will be closed.

We will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Both restaurants will open Monday Dec 26 at 11am and resume normal business hours.

Hola amigos!! With all the buzz going on about our expansion, we figured we'd fill you in on the deets with Tipsy Taco & Tequila Bar!

We listened to the people! We needed more space! This project began as a way to expand our kitchen for more catering volume. It grew to including event spaces and large bar. We will have a completely different menu, focusing mainly on tacos; because who doesn't love tacos?!

We are on the home stretch of construction and should open in about 3-4 weeks! We will keep you posted as soon as we have the opening date!
