I had a bunch of left over yarn and tons of buttons from the kids crafts to use and an idea from a friend that needed some ear relief from her mask. It’s great to give back when you can. 🧶A little back story on how I started crocheting:

Around 8 years ago I wanted to find a new hobby and try something different, so I started searching hobbies. I came across crocheting and knitting and thought that could be fun to make my own scarfs (scarf lover here🧣💗🙋🏼‍♀️). The more I researched I felt one needle (crocheting) looked a little less intimidating then two needles (knitting), so the decision was made. Crochet it was!

When researching and looking at patterns and all the “lingo/terms” they have, made me start to think.. “ahhh what am I getting myself into”. Then I thought, since I’m more of a “hand-on” learner, maybe I should search YouTube. There’s everything on YouTube! 😂 Once I searched “beginner friendly crochet tutorials”, I was ‘hooked’! 😜

To this day I still can’t read a pattern completely. 🙈 But I’m getting better! I love making new things and coming up with new ideas. I get a lot of moments when I say “oh I wonder if I can crochet that!”🤔 There’s so many ideas and neat things out there that are on my list to make. I can’t wait to show you all! 🧶💗

If you were wondering what I was working on yesterday, I was finishing up a custom order for a few shawls for a winter wedding in February. These thick warm shawls are going to help the bride and bridesmaids stay warm.

I finished my first sweater the other day. This one is considered a shrug type sweater. Nice and cozy! This one is a size XL. I’ll be making a cardigan type sweater very soon! (another first for me) ☺️🧶💗

I’m in love with these triangle scarfs! (they have many names) You can use them as a scarf or you can also use them as a shawl. I haven’t always remembered to take pictures of all the ones I’ve made but here’s two that I’ve done in the past.🧣🧶💗
