🍏 Culturally responsive testing is IMPORTANT!!!
For #4️⃣, my student said “He was sick so he couldn’t go to work”, and “The virus stopped him from getting his money”. (Culturally informed evaluators and tests are NON-negotiable.)
As his evaluator, I marked CORRECT! Because making test items like this incorrect is how culturally and linguistically diverse children get over and misdiagnosed.
