Yesterday, May 5, 2022 the Chamber was honored to host a ribbon cutting for The HIVE at Lavender Estate ! The Hive is a new event venue in Sumter offering indoor and outdoor spaces as well as decorative services and catering.

With over 20 years of Wedding Planning experience the owner of Lavender Field Estate, Jennifer, is delighted to make her dreams a reality and invite you to dream with her.
Jennifer was raised in the mountains of NC, her Husband and Co-Owner Darrell was raised in sunny Sumter SC. When they met it was love at first site. Each day they count their blessings for the love they share that grows sweeter and sweeter every day!
After retirement from their careers in NC they decided to move to SC and purchase their “happy place”. They began to raise bees and grow lavender. It was only a matter of time with Jennifer's background in event planning, her vision of making their Lavender - Bee Farm into a Vintage French Event Venue would emerge. And so it began.... Lavender Field Estate, a gathering place for fun, family, and love.
