Most precast structures are assembled in full-height vertical sections while The Icon Apartments were placed sequentially floor by floor in a "back-to-front" method. This process provided early access to each floor for other trades, dramatically accelerating the construction schedule. The strategic method of placing the floors and the additional benefits of T-SLAB made it possible for this project to be completed in under 16 weeks.

During Greg's 36-year career, he was not only able to impact Tindall but the community of precast as a whole through his involvement with Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI). While part of PCI, he has held various positions including:

- Chairman of the board in 2012
- Chair for the Design Handbook Committee - 7th Edition, Parking Structures Committee, and the now-defunct Justice Facilities Committee
- Immediate Past Chair of the Research and Development Council
- Member of the Technical Activities Council
- Chairman of the PCI Foundation Board of Trustees

He is a Fellow of PCI and ASCE and was named Titian of the Industry by PCI in 2014. In 2018, Greg received the PCI Mario J. Bertolini Leadership & Innovation Award.

Greg is a visionary who dedicates himself to fostering the same growth that he experienced for the development of our employees. In 2014, he created the Tindall Coaching program to support all Tindall employees' personal and professional growth, encouraging them to reach their full potential.

Throughout the Tindall family are dozens of certified Coaches who periodically host events at our locations. These events aim to bring awareness to the program for current and new employees. Pictured are some of the many coaching events we have hosted over the years.

Greg has been an integral part of Tindall since he joined the team in 1988. His vision for Tindall's value of Positive Growth has contributed to numerous plant additions and expansions. We can't thank him enough for his unwavering dedication to growth over the last 36 years.

With endless design flexibility, precast can be manufactured with a wide range of options. Home 2 Tru in Atlanta, GA utilized this versatility by incorporating multiple finishes within a single project.

As we reflect on Greg Force's retirement, we will always remember his example of appreciation for the employees of Tindall. During his role as Vice President & General Manager of Virginia in 2004, one of those moments was captured in the Tindall Times.

From the moment Greg Force joined the Tindall team, he has modeled what it means to be .

During his time as a Chief Engineer, over 30 years ago, he displayed his can-do attitude. Despite his job responsibilities not including precast concrete production, Greg was willing to work on the line to ensure the team had plenty of helpful hands no matter the project.

In 2018, Old Dominion University set out to revamp the S.B. Ballard Stadium. Utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) software and 760 pieces of precast concrete, we played a crucial role in turning the projected 18-month timeline into a 9-month turnaround, completing the project in time for the 2019 football season. Last week, six of our Infrastructure team members attended a two-day class for OSHA 10-hour training, Incident Investigation, and Stormwater training. Kudos to this group of individuals for furthering their education.
