I found Jesus! 💪🏽 😊💙🙌🏼
Took me a few attempts, and I was admittedly a little frustrated, but when I finally got it, I was truly elated.
I thought this was silly kids game, and then it hit me, like a ton of bricks, how Jesus waits to talk and listen to us every day.
Have a great day, fam. 🙏🏼💙

An interesting word, “Behold”. It means “to see” “to observe” “to notice.”
In this Sunday’s Gospel passage Jesus tells us “Behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.”
Although Jesus Ascends and returns to heaven, he promises to not make us orphans… he promises us to send us the Advocate, the Spirit, at Pentecost…
And if we “Behold” the world around us, how will this change things?
What will we see?
What will we notice?
What will we observe?
Will we see the Spirit working in and through others? Will we see that we are temples of the Holy Spirit?

Uniting our hearts and minds with all the moms, grandmoms, and even our “spiritual mothers”, all the special women in our lives that play this most important role of “mother” to us. God Bless and thank you for your dedication and selfless love. May we learn to love and live like you always. 🙏🏼💙😊

Lead us to the light of day.”

“May your grace, O Lord, we pray, at all times go before us and follow after and make us always determined to carry out good works. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.”
It was a great start to our 8th Grade Confirmation Prep sessions last night talking What the Sacrament is; what God does to us through the Sacrament, how our Identity is affected, how it is not optional, we’re all called to a spiritual maturity that is not tied to a number of age.
We also studied and prayed St. Paul’s Letter to the Ephesians 6, considering how to “equip ourself with the Belt of Truth, the Breastplate of Righteousness, the Sandals of peace, the Helmet of Salvation, the Shield of Faith, and the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God!”
Looking forward to our Retreat next week!
Peace and Blessings!

What fills your cup?

This is something we discussed at St Bens Young Adults Theology on Tap at The Court Jester this past Friday night.
We also looked for inspiration from the life of St. John Paul The Great.
Looking forward to gathering again in July!
John 10:10 “I came that they might have life, and have it more abundantly.”
Yesterday, at our Middle School CYO Social we considered that God didn’t come just to give us rules…. He came to give us LIFE! And JOY! We enjoyed a Hawaiian Beach Bash.
Thanks to all who came out, and to our Core team for their ongoing service to our young people.
We hope you can join us next month for our Issue Night on Social Media.
We’ll explore the good, the bad, and the ugly. & (We’re gonna play Jeopardy: Social Media Special Edition). Parents and friends are invited to join in on the game and discussion!
