We are officially open (again) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida! We were ordered by the state and county to close in March. It's hard to believe it has been three months since our last guest -- that was such a sad day for us!
Now that we are open, we are crossing our fingers for a safe and healthy summer for all, and we are looking forward to hosting people again!

For more than a year, we have been hosting guests from all over the world. It has given us a lot of pleasure and a chance to meet some really nice people. We have been grateful to everyone who pulled into our driveway, sat by our pool, and enjoyed the delights of Fort Lauderdale.
Over the past two weeks, some of our guests cancelled their reservations, which is understandable and expected. We want good health and safety for everyone, too.
Yesterday, however, was a tough day for us. We said good-bye to our last guests and temporarily closed our gate for a while.
We, like others, have been stunned by the changes over the past week, but we have hope for an even more beautiful future.
We wish everyone the best, and we'll be ready to host again once we are on the other side of this virus.

We feel fortunate today -- hurricane Dorian has passed us, with little rain and wind at our vacation rental (*phew*).
Now, Berkeley -- our golden retriever -- is waiting for more guests to arrive. You can tell he is relieved too!

We love when our guests have a great stay! In the middle of Christmas day, a couple booked one of our studios for one night. They were on their way home from their vacation in Key West and flying out of Fort Lauderdale airport the next day. We're glad they chose to stay with us!

We opened Five Star Vacation Properties, LLC in August 2018. We are a husband and wife team who saw an opportunity to move towards our dream of having vacation rentals, a bed and breakfast (some day), and hosting others like so many have done for us!
We are a licensed short-term vacation rental in the State of Florida and have achieved a Certificate of Compliance from the city of Fort Lauderdale. We are a licensed and insured self-funded small business.
We strive to deliver a five star experience. We believe in beauty, comfort, and care. Our short-term vacation rentals are newly remodeled with many special touches. Our amenities are a testament to the beauty and location of our properties, our attention to detail, and our desire for our guests to love their stay. Each of our rentals include wifi, 360 TV channels, kitchen, coffee and coffee maker, comfortable bedding and lines, free parking, and access to our saltwater pool, grilling area and laundry room.
