I didn’t wanna write this, but I feel I need to explain why I haven’t posted in a long time on almost any platform in as brief a read as possible.
2023 hit me hard and I was away from home on a work trip when my mom passed away suddenly and completely unexpected. She is the most beautiful person I know, and no amount of my words here would be able to express that well enough.
Anyways, I flew back and was there for all that came next. Had 1 month to grieve, and then had to go out of state again on business. In order to function at all, I purposefully bottled things up until after I returned. It seems I always end up taking a break from something, be it my music, or my business, but while one is on hiatus, I’m always busy with the other. This time, honestly I could use a break from both. But I feel strongly that I do not have the time for that.
I’m only saying all this because, I will be starting to post more soon and get back to the swing of things on here, and I feel at some point that I’m due to give some kind of explanation to my friends, and listeners on here.. however I’m going through a lot still, and in a way I feel like I’m not the same person as I was a year ago.
I may remove this post in the future, but for now this remains for both of us. If you see me making more music, content, or posts, this feeling still remains.

Ok guys, we got very far in the competition. Made it to the quarter finals 6th round of 8. We placed 3rd in a tough contest and will not be moving forward with it. Just wanted to thank you all for voting for me, keeping up with it and supporting me through this.

Ok 22 hrs left for the quarter finals. We must hit 1st and stay there to continue on to the 2nd to last round.
Was in 1st for a moment but recently went back to 2nd and then 3rd in a matter of a couple hours.

Alright y’all! We’re currently in 4th in the quarter finals for this crazy ride of a competition to open on a massive stage w/ maroon 5 and some other headliners (as well as radio time and more).

I’ve been bombarded w ppl who offer ”voting services” and “paid votes” promising to make me win the competition if I pay for their services... these ppl who run the competitions have software that detects cheaters and and mass paid votes like that. It is a huge risk that I will not take. If we win, we win it for real. I’m not gonna try and hack something, win, cheat, get disqualified, and sacrifice all that effort support, love and time that you guys have dedicated towards me and toawards this!
The only way to the top for this is the right way. The only way to pay for votes is with the “Together Votes” that all go to American Foundation for Su***de Prevention. (2x vote days, are the best times to ever do that). And free Facebook verified votes.

I will not at all be surprised if one of these “paid voting service” guys comment here and try to lead up with something like “I can make you win this competition”. I almost expect it. You should see my DM’s lol.

Anyways, it’s a wild ride. We have to hit 1st this round. 1st next round. And 1st 2nd 3rd or 4th for the final round. Keep up the voting at least for free even. That’s fantastic. And let’s see what happens. I’d love to win and get the opportunity. But either way. It will take a lot. And whatever happens just know that I appreciate you all. I’ll have something special cooked up for you guys pretty soon too. As soon as I can get it ready (as I’m currently working out of state 12 hr days).

We made it to the next round quarter finals (5/8) guys!! Had a break for a few days and then voting picks back up tomorrow on Monday.
If we hit 1st again this round, it’ll be semi finals, and then finals, where the winners will be determined.

We were in first place for a day but are now in second. Probably still close. If we make 1st, we go on and there will be just a couple more rounds left.

Update for everybody following this. Made it through top 5! Been teetering between 2nd and 3rd.
Gotta hit 1st to keep going and move onto the finals. Honestly we’ve made it a lot further than I’d have expected, which is awesome. And again I gotta thank you guys for all the support and well wishes.

Here’s the update! We made it through the top 5 round in 3rd. Currently in 5th. Must place 1st in this round to continue… then it’s basically a couple rounds of all the 1st placers competing in the finals. We’ll see how it goes, but we got through more than half of this contest just fine. Now it gets a little tougher. Thanks to everyone and please keep voting.

3) I was collecting empty bottles for three months to film this. 🍾Nearly everyone who was apart of this donated empty bottles they found too. Props are important and can really solidify the world you create in your own videos. So are those who have a knack for decorating or set dressing. 💯

4) The guitar in this pic is a passing gift from my old music teacher, mentor, and friend. He passed away in autumn of 2020 from some complications. The song “20/20” and it’s music video are both dedicated to him. 🙏
