Swirl Surfskate Fest went from the just an idea from the minds at to taking over the entire block underneath the for the second year in a row! The amount of love, stoke and support we felt from our Venice community all day long was really unbelievable. Throwing it back to a classic - the Carver ‘Woodie’ from 2009/2010. We recently came across this photo of a very limited version of this model. This Woodie features a unique C7/C2 truck set, noticeably wider than our standard 9” axles. This was likely from a custom run of 10” axle hangers, cast in a very small batch from a handmade sand casting pattern plate that we created as an experiment. We don’t recall this ever being a production truck set, making it a rare and extremely limited edition board—possibly something we crafted for a friend.

Our new 29” Surfrider is a surfskate take on a 60’s classic. We started cutting down some C5s to 4” to see how it would feel, and we trimmed down a street deck to match. It surprised us all with how fun it felt to ride, and we desperately wanted to share this feeling with our community. But truck design and tooling takes time and Summer is upon us! So with our in-house machine shop and skilled crew we whipped up a limited batch of these hand-made minis, rolling on 65mm Slicks Roundhouse wheels for a cushy, grippy ride.

We couldn’t be more stoked to partner with Di’Orr Greenwood and the Diné Skate Garden to make skateboarding accessible to indigenous youth. Not only is the graphic visually incredible, it supports the incredible mission of supporting the DIY skatepark for the Two Grey Hills chapter of the Navajo Nation. A portion of the proceeds for each board goes directly to fund improvements at the park.

Coming in at 36.5” the 777 is one of the longest in the Carver lineup. This board has just a hint of point to the nose, based on the classic Tyler nose rider. It’s just long enough for a little walk up and back, and short enough for easy pushing and fast down-the-line pumping.

From the start weʼve always meant for the Ghostnet to be a high performance surfskate, first and foremost. That itʼs made from recycled fishing nets saved from polluting the ocean is a bonus. The name refers to the deadly trawl of loose nets drifting the ocean floor, tangling sea life in their ghostly grip. This board is not made from any old plastic; fishing nets need to be strong and durable in extreme conditions so they make them out of Nylon6, which also makes for a durable, waterproof board that still retains a little flex for a smooth ride.

Embossed channels run through the tail of the Black Tip, featuring our Durafusion laminate. This high density, impervious thermoplastic layer is fused to the bottom the board to enhance strength and durability, provide responsive rebound and extend deck life. Pressed into our Hyperspoon mold design, it features a deeper spoon-shaped concave in the nose and a steeper tail so you feel fully locked into your stance.

Our latest project, Seek and Skate, features as he puts the C5 truck system to the test.

This truck set (C5 front, C4 rear) is shorter and narrower, lowering the center of gravity and giving it more pop. You get higher ollies and better control, while the narrower hanger and patented geometry keeps it light and maneuverable. We've also taken this progression to the next level with hollow axles and kingpins for the lightest and most versatile surfskate trucks in the world. ⁠
