2014 temperature blanket is still going! I’m almost done with April, and I’m excited for all the yellow days of May!
Maybe it will be ready for movie night couch hangouts before I’m 40?! 😝
Current work in progress! It’s a temperature blanket from 2014.
Originally it was a temperature scarf, but then I got on a blanket kick.
5 and 1/2 years! It’s finally finished!
Now it will hide in my closet until fall while I work on smaller projects:)
5 years in the making! 2/3 if the way to queen sized quilt!!
I finished square 11 of the today.
I've also started joining the completed squares, and I have the next pattern copied into my notes!
I have a couple of other projects on the hook or hibernating.
Cooler weather is on the way so I look forward to having updates more frequently!
Happy Dragon*Con to those attending! Stay safe and hydrated!!
Square 7 from the Moogly CAL.
Starting on squares 8, 9, and 10 today!
I pulled the anniversary blanket out of hibernation! I worked on it while I was taking time off for jury duty, and it's finally big enough to be a lap blanket. Still have a lot of rounds to go to make it a queen sized blanket!
I have been enjoying my new position at work, but I have been neglecting my crafting! Here is an update of the squares I've completed for the !
I'm using this CAL to bust up my yarn stash so it's not going to be the prettiest blanket, but maybe it will distract the animals from the nicer blankets I will make:)

Circle Motifs
Messy, but I finished it! I think I can officially call myself an intermediate crocheter!!
I ordered crafting supplies for my birthday and I learned a technique to make roll and bullion stitches more easily!
I'm back to making all the motifs from Beyond the Square. It's a good project for a hot summer!
Blanket is washed and ready to be sent out! Next up: A wolf hat for Brendon!!
Baby blanket complete! It still needs to be washed and blocked and the photo is blurry...but you get the idea :)
Time to start the owl motif and the leftover yarn surprise gift!!
Sloths for Nancy and Corey are finished!!! I'm now working on a blanket for Baby Payton :)
One sloth down, one sloth, one wolf hat, three Viking hats, and two baby blankets to go!!
I have three papers due this month so I have not been crafting as much as I usually do.
I am working on things though!! I have Viking hats for Ali, Quentin, and Micah to try on, and Nancy's sloth has a face and part of a head.
Next up, Corey's sloth and Brendan's wolf hat!
Hello friends! I have been working on sloths for a few people, and I bought yarn for a baby blanket (the baby is already two weeks old, I need to get on it!). I also bought a new pattern (for an awesome wolf hoodie), and I might look into getting some new hooks soon.
I'll post some pictures as soon as I finish something or buy more yarn :)
Happy New Year friends! I hope you all had a safe and happy holiday season!!
Last year I tried many new patterns and learned a lot of new techniques and some new stitches.
In 2015 I hope to:
* Continue working on a blanket for Jack and myself
* Finish all viking hats, sloths, and ewok hoodies on order
* Catch up with the Reddit CALs
* Finish 2014 temp. scarf, track 2015 temps, make 2015 temp "scarf", stitch "scarves" together after a few years for a temperature blanket
* Make amigurumi cats for Stacy Dunn
* Make a Discworld model for Jack
* Make a Doctor Who scarf for myself
* Make all amigurumis and motifs in the books I own
* Make a mermaid doll for a classmate's daughter
* Make or repair any other items on my crafting lists :)
