Hi there! Let me reintroduce myself to our new fans and followers! My name is Ashley and I am the owner of Kona Ice of Central Santa Rosa. I started this business in 2020 at 25 years old. I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. Go bengals!
Every purchase of a Kona Ice at our truck supports a small, women-owned business 🫶🏻🌈
Prior to starting this venture in 2020, I was a nurse for 6 years. I have experience in pediatrics, dementia/psych and Endocrinology. Helping others has always been a passion of mine so I decided to start a business that I could still accomplish bringing joy to as many people as possible.
Since our opening in July of 2020, Kona Ice of Central Santa Rosa has raised and donated over $90,000 for local Sonoma and Marin county schools, youth sports and non-profits. I am still in awe over this number and that a small dream of mine has affected so many little lives! ♥️
I also wanted to shout out my mother, Gwen McCane. She was my best friend and she passed away from Ovarian cancer in 2019. I used the money she left me to go after my dreams and without her, none of this would have been possible.
I don’t have any family here in Sonoma County but the friends I have made here are like family to me and this community makes me feel so loved and supported in all that I do 🥰
