Is that a piece of Candlewick in this ad?
Annette Nordhorn Trombley celebrates Easter with pieces of candlewick. Very beautiful.
The Imperial Glass family lost a vital, knowledgeable and dedicated member this weekend. Kathy Doub, a founding member of our Study Group #1, passed away. I don’t have any details to share at this time. 😢
Looks a lot like an imperial nut cup.
Jadeite dish with decorated bottle brush tree. Measures Approximately 4.5" tall. One of a kind, handmade.
Here’s a cute idea for your nut cups.
A club member is starting a new business venture, check out www.passionate-baker.com for delicious old European delights.
Prayers please, club member Jeff has contracted Covid and has been hospitalized.
Really tired of C-19, has anyone gotten out to look for candlewick/Imperial glass? Or have you taken an inventory of your collection?
The Museum of American Glass in West Virginia mural is moving along.
Hope you are enjoying a healthy and safe sunny Sunday. Nothing to report, just wanted to say hello! Are you healthy and a bit bored like us?
Sending the warmest thoughts and deepest sympathy to the Cleaver family.

We're so excited: spring is here and that means Jesse Corlis is back working on our wonderful mural! Yesterday he did all but the finishing touches on the Carder Steuben Bristol yellow toilet jar. Nice work, Jesse!
HAPPY EASTER 🐣🐥🐰
Though this particular Easter is different than any other you have probably ever experienced, please try and concentrate on the true reason for Easter and positive things. We all have so much to be thankful for (like our Imperial glass collections 😊😀).
Wishing each of you and your families a blessed, healthy & nice Easter.
Here’s a little something to color. Create a rainbow of Candlewick glasses.

Important Announcement
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic that the entire nation and most of the world is enduring, the Board of Trustees of the National Imperial Glass Collectors' Society voted to cancel the 2020 Convention. The Board made this decision after much thought and discussion over the past several weeks.
A multitude of reasons for this cancellation exist. Foremost among them is the health of convention registrants and Museum visitors & staff. Also, we do not know when Mehlman's Cafeteria or the Bellaire Public Library will reopen. Further, we do not know when we will be able to open the Museum.
If you have made a hotel reservation, remember to cancel it. The phone number for the St. Clairsville Best Western is 740-699-0010.
In the coming weeks and months, please use wisdom as you strive to be safe and healthy during this pandemic.
Sincerely,
Frederick C. Ottoson, President
Update from National....The National Imperial Glass Collectors' Society and the National Imperial Glass Museum staff have been monitoring the Corona Virus situation, and the Society Board of Trustees have decided to delay the opening of the Museum originally scheduled for April 2. We will continue to monitor the situation, and when we feel it is appropriate, we will announce an opening date. We regret this action but feel it is in the best interests of everyone for us to be prudent and protective of everyone's health-including our docents who volunteer.
Currently, the Society still has plans to hold the 44th Annual Imperial Glass Convention in June. However, as stated above, we will continue to monitor the situation and make a decision when needed. For further information, call the Museum at 740-671-3971.
We are postponing our Spring 2020 meeting. Stay well and safe everyone.
