It’s been a cake kind of weekend, the first of four. Now onto cookie orders for the week.

Today we celebrate this beauty on her 8 yr Diaversary!!! 💙what’s a diaversary? It’s remembering the day, in an instant, her world completely changed. With the onslaught of a new healthcare team, blood sugar monitoring, insulin injections and eventual medical devices, we all learned a new “normal”. To say she’s thriving in this Type 1 world is an understatement. She handles this chronic disease with confidence and maturity beyond her years. Even though as her parents, we’re less involved with the daily, hourly or by the minute processes, we’ll always be a part of her support system. 💗love you more

2nd attempt, adding context! We’re sad our Alaskan cruise has come to an end, we had an amazing time! We met fellow cruisers from all around the world, ate way too much and saw and soaked in the beauty of Alaska. More photos to follow, it’s time to fly! ✈️

We’re having an amazing time on our Alaskan cruise. It was the ships birthday yesterday too and it was a great combined celebration. We spent today cruising thru Glacier Bay Nat’l Park. Last full day tomorrow and we’ll be in anchorage.
