This is exactly why I'm glad I'm on the trail end of my business! I have always been a proponent of mulching leaves rather than putting in the landfill. Leaves left whole and in a landfill dont break down properly and produce methane gas. Lastly the ones pushing this ban are most likely the ones who have a problem when you have to"upgrade" equipment to meet the standards the they set and have to raise your price per cut 5 bucks!
U.S. bans on gasoline-powered leaf blowers grow, as does blowback from landscaping industry The roar of the leaf blower has become an inescapable part of daily life in communities across America, leading towns and states to ban or restrict blowers that run on gasoline.
Been a while since I've posted
Just out salting. Roads covered (Lincoln area) and becoming increasingly slippery. The snowfall rate makes for terrible visibility. Slow down if you have to travel.
Be safe!
This!
Just out plowing and the roads are not good right now. Visibility is the bigger problem though. It's really hard to tell where you are at even on Rt 113. DON'T GO OUT if you don't have to. Saw truck in ditch on 113 already. Can't see more than a few feet in front of you.
Rock wall and some mulch work today. Plants coming soon.
Got some sweet corn from our friends and customers at Rt 1 Produce. It was delicious. Check them out. A couple miles on Northbound past Argos Corner.
It seems like everywhere you looks someone is pulling a trailer with mowers on it. When hiring a lawn service remember they will be on YOUR property and unless they have insurance you are on the hook for any damages to your property, surrounding property and individuals hurt while they are on your property. Always ask if they are licensed and insured, certified to do the work they are doing. This includes applying lawn chemicals (even things like roundup and w**d and feed products). If something should go wrong a homeowner can face serious financial liabilities! You may save 5 or 10 bucks a cut but in the long run face lawsuits that could cost you everything.
Fresh cut! (Pic before blowing off driveway)

Snowstorm surprises Cape Region The tail end of the polar vortex surprised the Cape Region Feb. 1 with a few inches of snow. The weather made driving conditions tricky, especially on secondary roads. Cape Henlopen School District dismissed students early because of the inclement...
Just got home from a night of salting. Main roads are good. (Milford-Rehoboth, Dagsboro-Lincoln) Major secondary pretty good. Maybe a little patchy so as always, slow down, be safe!
Shout out to all those Del-DOT guys and gals getting it done out there...great job!
Been out salting/plowing. Major roads Milford and South to Lewes Rehoboth good. Some secondary roads a little hairy. Main roads from Millsboro up to Lincoln good. Saw lots of cars in ditches so just drive slow, be safe and in no hurry.

Just have to say kudos to all the people out there plowing and keeping essential businesses and roadways open. This was not just your typical storm. I know sometimes it is frustrating to be stuck in your home, have some roads uncleared but make no mistake my fellow snow plow brothers and sisters braved some dangerous and in some cases life threatening situations. Thank you all for the service and dedication. Please like and share so word gets out to all those that need and should hear this.

Last road update...Rt 1 from Lewes to Lincoln/Milford clear but wind still blowing and drifts accumulating. In clear areas slippery/icy. Most all secondary roads I traveled were at least icy, some unplowed or not recently. 113 same as rt 1 from s. Milford to Lincoln. Please stay in..Saw many cars stuck and plenty of accidents. Signing off.
Road update:
Secondary roads very bad, snow blowing over roads that have been plowed. Drifts all over the place. 113 continues to get plowed but still not good. Stay inside if you can.
Just drove up from Lewes to Milford. Rt.1 getting bad north of lewes. Secondary roads covered. Everyone be careful and will update as we can. Stay tuned...please like and share so everyone can get updated.
Merry Christmas from Marc Julien and Louis Pisapia and the guys. Hopes for a prosperous 2018 for all!
Road update. Rt 1 and 113 not bad. Back roads in Lincoln not the greatest. Be careful in the morning!
At this time it seems like beach area and Georgetown/Millsboro hit harder than Milford. All roads have been clear..rt1, rt113 Milford, th 30 Lincoln all clear. Be safe
