Toledo Walleye Faith and Family Night

The Toledo Walleye Hockey team will host a Faith and Family Night on Sunday, February 4, with the game at 5:15 pm. Group discounted tickets are $19 and include a Q&A with Walleye coaches and players at 2:00 pm before the game.

This event was amazing!

Fundraiser being held for seniors displaced by fire in Southgate People are mobilizing Wednesday night to help people displaced by last week's fire at a senior home in Southgate. Now, they're getting some help from their neighbors at the nearby Grecian Center.

On Tuesday, October 3 a devastating fire broke out at the Meadows of Southgate Senior Community which resulted in several injuries and major damage to the complex. Many of the residents are facing a total loss of their personal belongings and a place to live. In addition, several of our parishioners also lived in the complex. In an attempt to lessen the burden for the victims, our parish will be hosting a spaghetti dinner fundraiser this Wednesday, October 11 from 4-8 p.m. with all proceeds going to the victims of the fire. We kindly ask for your help during the fundraiser as we will need many volunteers to help serve and clean tables for the guests who come in.

In addition, Philtocohos will also be collecting items such as toiletries, men's or women's clothing, slippers, shoes, undergarments, and socks in small, medium, and large sizes. We kindly ask that none of the items be used. Items can be dropped off in the Church office during regular hours or in the Narthex of the Church during the services.

This year’s Feather Party Bingo was a HUGE success. Over 320 people (new record), 24 turkeys, 32 raffle items, a table full of door prizes and special items. The baklava was amazing. We hope everyone had a great time! See you next year!

Saint George Greek Orthodox Church is hosting a benefit dinner for the children of St. Irene's Mission and Orphanage, Njabini, Kenya.

Please join us on Tuesday, October 25, at 6 PM, as we celebrate Vespers in honor of the Holy Great Martyr Demetrius the Myrrh-streamer. Following the Vespers at 7 PM, we will hold a community dinner and fundraiser for the Saint Irene Mission and Orphanage and a presentation by its director, Fr. Constantinos Njuguna.
