First, we'd like to share some important updates with you. Our ticket prices have been adjusted to $20 for a single concert ticket. This change helps us maintain the sustainability of our orchestra while ensuring that our music remains accessible to all.
Our first concert of the season is right around the corner, scheduled for October 22nd at 7:00 pm. in Brown Chapel at Muskingum University. We are thrilled to kick off the season with a night of enchanting music, and we hope to see each of you there.
To make it super convenient for you to purchase tickets, we offer several options:

Exciting news! Season ticket holders this year can pick up their tickets at the door, so there's no need for tickets to be mailed.
Now, let's dive into the exciting details of our opening concert. The theme is an exciting blend of history, hip-hop, and Halloween. This eclectic mix promises something for everyone. Our program includes classics like Beethoven's Egmont Overture and Gliere's Russian Sailors Dance, featuring our apprentice conductor, Jackie Bradshaw. We'll also get into the Halloween spirit with the classic Peer Gynt Suite and a spine-tingling rendition of Michael Jackson's "Thriller."
In honor of the 50th anniversary of hip hop, we're featuring the score from the groundbreaking musical "Hamilton" and a cool tune called "Beat-hoven." This concert is bound to be a delightful fusion of diverse musical genres and eras.

Here we go again! Our annual children's concert is right around the corner!!! Sunday, March 20 3:30 pm in Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center! This year it's about drawing-characters and animals with art teachers on hand to teach us all about it!! Great fun as we draw to the music!!!!! Children are ALWAYS free with a ticketed adult!

Join SEOSO tomorrow evening at Secrest Auditorium! The concert is free of charge we ask that you bring a non-perishable food item as a donation to Christ Table. We are so happy that we are back and able to share the music with all of you again. Tickets are available at the Muskingum County Library and Secrest Auditorium as well as that the door. Sometimes, the right decision is a tough one, and not always the 'happiest'-but, it is made in the best interest of all parties.
I just want to shout out and say thank you, to our wonderful partner Muskingum University, musicians, loyal supporters and patrons, friends, seoso staff and board..... yesterday's concert was terrific, although it didn't quite go off as planned-but thank you all for your understanding and support. In an abundance of caution, guided by the Muskingum County Health Department, we closed our doors and went to livestream-to protect you, our most important resource, our audience. We are indeed in unusual times, and because we truly care about the health and safety of all, I again want to thank you for your understanding and support. We look forward to performing for you, live and present!-in Secrest Auditorium, Thursday, December 2 at 7 pm. I truly value each and every one of you, and it is you that I am thinking of when difficult decisions are made. People, caring for others-placing others' health and safety above all-is important in this day and age. We look forward to continuing the music-for you, our beloved supporters.

Today the Southeastern Ohio Symphony returns to the stage. Tickets available at the door at Secrest Auditorium. Concert is at 3:30pm. An online ticket can be purchased to view online at www.seoso.org where a link will be emailed to you.

Be sure to join the Southeastern Ohio Symphony Orchestra for our opening concert of the 2021-2022 season! We are excited to be performing again and invite you to join us for a spectacular concert honoring heroes on November 14, 2021 in Secrest Auditorium in downtown Zanesville!
The concert, entitled Heroes: Honoring our First Responders and Veterans, is a memorial tribute to the first responders on this twentieth anniversary of 9/11, as well as our Military Veterans, as we celebrate Veteran’s Day.
The orchestra will perform famous hero music, Magnificent Seven, Superman, Chariots of Fire, and much more as we join together in music to celebrate and honor our heroes!
Join us for this terrific musical tribute, Sunday, November 14, at 3:30 pm in Secrest Auditorium in Zanesville Ohio. Adult tickets are $15, $45 for a season membership, and children and always free when accompanied by an adult.
Masks are required at all times to attend this concert, proper social distanced seating will be followed for the safety of all our wonderful musicians and attendees!
