Deadline coming up! October 14 is the last day to mark horses as eligible for All Breeds. SWANA is part of the USDF All Breeds awards program honoring any SWB horse competing at all levels in dressage throughout the competition year. In order to partake in the awards program the following has to be fulfilled:

1. A horse must be declared with USDF, for a participating organization (SWANA), by August 1 of the award year in order to participate in the all-breeds award program.
2. The horse must be registered with the correct owner on record with SWANA
3. The owner of record must be a member of SWANA

We have many horses declared on the list, however most are NOT eligible due to either nr 2 or nr 3 above. If you wish to partake in the USDF Allbreeds Awards and need further information, please contact the SWANA office at [email protected]

Devin Franco GJ (SWB) 1472 (by Vivino - Bon Coeur, breeder and owner: Gustaf Johansson) with rider Minna Telde. Devin was the SWB Stallion Trophy champion for 3-year old horses at the 2023 SWB Equestrian Weeks.

Swedish Warmblood Trophy presented by Hyperion Stud!
In a new collaboration between Hyperion Stud, based in Virginia, USA, the Swedish Warmblood Association, and Gothenburg Horse Show - the Swedish Warmblood Trophy is secured for the next three years.
- This is a fantastic opportunity to market the SWB - horses at such a prestigious event while also presenting a unique opportunity for these youngsters to experience competition in an international arena, says Helén Uddefors, CEO of SWB.

WOW is all we can say about receiving this award! With the help of BSF Frame Charleston, Beall Spring Farm LLC is ranked 3rd in the WORLD for the World Breeders Federation for Sport Horses.

BSF Frame Charleston is out of our beloved mare Beall Spring Savanna and by one of our favorite stallions Shakespeare RSF. Charleston is the Grandson of Sahara, mother of Beall Spring Shamrock, Beall Spring Savanna, and Beall Spring Seattle among other wonderful offspring. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our success as a farm, especially Martin Douzant, who has piloted all these young horses!

Watch the SWB Elite Foal Auction Dressage 2022 collection of top-quality foals! They all got bright futures as ambassadors in equestrian sport. The 2022 SWB Elite Foal Action will be presented in a hybrid format during the SWB Equestrian Weeks. The auction for the dressage foals will be on Friday, September 30 and bids can be placed both online via ClipMyHorse.TV and on-site in Flyinge where the foals will also be presented LIVE.

The SWB Elite Foal Auction is taking place for the fifteenth consecutive year this year.
– I would say that we have a very strong collection of SWB foals this year, says Andreas Jönsson who is part of the selection team.

– We always aim to present our customers with foals of superb quality, that are prospects of becoming ambassadors in the sport and a testament to our solid Swedish breeding. The FEI World Championships is taking place in Herning, Denmark starting Aug 6. Christina Olsson is a familiar face to our breeders in North America, having spent many inspection tours over the years traveling across the continent judging SWB horses. Christina is also the breeder and owner of the absolutely fabulous mare Astoria (SWB) born 2012 by Sir Donnerhall II out of Aquarell (SWB) - Quaterback, ridden by the equally as fabulous Jeanna Högberg (SWE). The trio is now en route to defend the Swedish colors during the FEI World Championships in dressage in Denmark. We wish them all the best and will be cheering from afar. Go Astoria and Jeanna 🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪⭐️⭐️⭐️ And big, huge congrats to Christina for the nomination of Astoria to Team Sweden 🥳

”En häst med alla möjligheter," menade domarna om det då 7-åriga SWB-stoet Astoria med Jeanna Högberg i sadeln när de tog sin tredje raka seger i Breeders Trophy 2019. Nu är ekipaget uttagna att representera Sverige under VM i danska Herning. 🇩🇰

SWB fick några ord med en chockad men glad uppfödare och ägare påväg att ta nattåget till hästfesten i Falsterbo.

Hur känns det?
- Tack, det känns otroligt roligt! Jag såg att det plingade till i telefonen och fick köra åt sidan. När jag såg vad det stod fick jag läsa det tre gånger. Jag trodde inte det var sant, säger Christina med tårar i ögonen.
- Jeanna och jag har pratat mycket och vi visste att de hade ett bra snitt, men vi trodde ändå att det var lite för tidigt för VM. Astoria gör ju trots allt sin första internationella säsong i år.

Kommer du vara på plats i Herning?
- Ja, det är ju bara att packa och åka! Jag kan ju inte säga att jag ska vänta in nästa VM-häst, den chansen är nog minimal, haha! Astoria är tredje generationen jag föder upp, jag undrar hur vanligt det är i VM-sammanhang? Klart att man hoppas mycket på sina uppfödningar men ett VM hade jag inte vågat spänna bågen mot. Det är som en saga - tänk en så liten uppfödare som mig från norra Sverige, när det finns så många duktiga uppfödare nere i Europa!

Astoria har ju en avkomma, Abigail (SWB) (f.2021 e. Bon Coeur u. Astoria - Sir Donnerhall II) berätta!
- Ja, hon är gjord via ET och är ett år nu. Henne har jag gömt djupt inne i skogen, haha!
I år har vi inte gjort några försök med ET i och med att det det vart en del resande för Astorias del, men nu får vi väl ta ett snack igen, både vad gäller ET och framtida mål för tävlingar.

-Jeanna och Astoria är ett fantastiskt par tillsammans. De gillar varandra och Astoria är en lättsam individ som tycker om att tävla, hon gillar att visa upp sig och få känna sig duktig.
