Team Driskill Ministries
Preaching, Teaching, and Healing in Jesus' name. Mark and Mary came here in 1990 and have been ministering in various ways.
Team Driskill, founded January 2, 1988, is a family run ministry in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky (Breathitt County). Using both traditional and non traditional means we seek to minister the life changing gospel of Jesus Christ in every way possible. We accomplish this by plugging into and supporting ministries that are already here and using our gifts in preaching, teaching, and creative art

Team Driskill News January 2020
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! 2019 has been quite a ride with blessings, challenges, and changes in our family ministry. So buckle up and here we go…
Grace began her senior year at Alice Lloyd College and will graduate in May with a BA in English and minors in sociology and communications. She made a second trip to Guatemala this summer, she enjoys blog writing and making promotional videos for Bethel Mennonite Camp and Alice Lloyd College.
John graduated from Alice Lloyd and they liked him so much they hired him! He is Student Activities Director and Assistant Coach for both Cross Country and Track & Field. He spends most of his time keeping fit and helping others do the same.
Jackson has begun work on his Masters Degree in Pastoral Counseling from Luther Rice College & Seminary. He is now working with a GED prep program at Big Sandy Community College.
Kate completed her Masters in Christian Ministry Degree through Cedarville University and is serving with several local community ministries including Bethel Camp, Oakdale and Riverside Christian School. She also was part of a community project called Our Breathitt. She and several artists are putting together an album of the same name, filled with songs, stories and poetry that expresses the heart and beauty of this often misunderstood and under-appreciated part of the country.
The kids have been pretty busy, each manifesting the kingdom of God in a beautiful way.
Mark made a major change this year as well. He was ordained and appointed as a Free Methodist and now serves as both full-time teacher and pastor of Oakdale Free Methodist Church. Mary works with drama productions and as health coach with students and staff. We continue to serve as Camp Pastors at Bethel Mennonite Camp.
Thanks so much for your love, prayers, and support. We wish you the very best as we all step together into a new decade full of new adventures and kingdom blessings!

It's been awhile since my last update. Here's what Team Driskill is up to.
We we ended a great summer with a total of about 498 campers hearing the gospel and growing in Christ.
Now Mark is back teaching at Oakdale, working on ear number 11. Mary is coordinating between home, church, college kids and school activities, and a little Yoga teaching on the side.
We're both working on improving our health as well.
Katie is living at home while she works with the soon to open Breathitt County Sapling Center, and takes online courses at Cedarville University, for her Master's degree.
Jack is working at the Sapling Center in Prestonsburg.
John is double majoring at Alice Lloyd College and running cross country at the same time.
Grace is in her sophomore year at Alice Lloyd. Both of them are involved in ministry on campus.
October is already filled with plans:
5-8 - I'll be a speaker at the Lexington Emmaus walk.
We also have two fall retreats at Bethel Camp.
Thanks for praying for us.
I feel it's important to let you know that all the members of Team Driskill carry themselves with great dignity and seriousness. Here are some photos that give evidence of that. We take ourselves very seriously.

Team Driskill had a great time at Vertical 2015. The folks at Foothills Community Chapel have a great vision for ministering to the next generation. About 200 teens from Pennsylvania, Ohio, South Carolina and North Carolina came together to experience God and learn how to make a difference in the world for Christ. It was great to have the whole team together. Katie and John played some music, Jack spoke about Bethel Camp and helped me with our favorite skit. And these photos are courtesy of Grace, my favorite photographer.
Pray for our team as we head out to the Carolinas for a great weekend of worship and ministry.
