Goodness Gracie Gourmet Foods specializes in Gourmet Toffee Cookies and Savory Snacks that are perfect for Corporate and Personal Gifting.
In 1995, caterer, Sallie Lynch forgot to prepare a dessert for a client's luncheon. She took a quick inventory of the ingredients on-hand and brainstormed a solution: a favorite cookie recipe of her mother's. The sweet, crunchy toffee cookies were a huge success and she was bombarded with requests to purchase them. Soon, Sallie was operating a small cookie company as a sideline to catering, baking

We have been remiss in letting you know that due to covid, the death of a very dear family member and all of the other craziness in 2020, we took Goodness Gracie on hiatus as of August 2020. We are very appreciative of all of the support we have been shown for all these years we have been in business and the friendships and relationships formed. We hope to be back in some form or fashion in 2021. So please stay tuned.

This is a great resource shared by the Cape Fear Volunteer Center for those in Dorian's path or to keep for future Hurricanes. We are on the coast of North Carolina so we are ramping up our efforts to be ready for a possible visit from Dorian later this week.

Maybe we made the first contest too easy - it didn't take anytime to get our first ten responses. This one is a little more challenging...please submit a picture or short description of how you are celebrating St. Patrick's Day! The first ten posts will receive a carton of Goodness Gracie treats. We will PM you on Monday for your mailing address. (addresses must be in the continental U.S.)
Gracie and Rusty weren't as enthusiastic as we were in getting them to dress up as Leprechauns, but rest assured they earned plenty of treats for their cooperation.

Today is National Napping Day. It is an unofficial holiday which is celebrated annually the day right after the return of daylight savings time. The purpose is to give everyone a chance to catch up on some much-needed rest after the clocks have sprung ahead. In several studies, it has been shown that even a 20 or 30-minute nap can have a positive effect on mental alertness and cognitive ability. So grab your favorite blanket and lay your head down for a few moments on this lazy holiday. Goodness Gracie's Spoke pups, Rusty and Gracie are experts at napping and work on their technique several times daily. Goodness Gracie will be closed from 3:00 to 4:00 this afternoon to observe the holiday.😉

It's National Procrastination Week and okay, we'll own it, we are the Poster Child of procrastination. So there is not a better time for us to turn over a new leaf and get back on Facebook. Another busy Christmas season has come to a close at Goodness Gracie. We are very fortunate to have a wonderful group of “elves” to help us get our tasty sweet and savory treats baked, packaged and shipped to happy recipients everywhere! Each season, we decorate our Goodness Gracie Christmas tree with wooden spoons that elves from years past and the present year have decorated. A few new Junior elves joined us this year and our most “Senior” elf was back for a 13th season. The spoons bring back a lot of great memories and stories and laughs to share. This year, we added our first international spoon to the tree. We were fortunate to have a new elf who was on an extended family visit from Greece who had some extra time to come and help at Goodness Gracie. Her spoon is decorated with olives like the ones she harvests on her farm and a traditional Greek Christmas greeting. Her Greek name is Contessa, how lovely. We are grateful and feel very blessed for all of the wonderful people that make up the “Goodness Gracie family.” Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah!
