Did Deka Strong today. Volunteered to judge all day too. It was a great day at . Thank you for hosting such a great event. Thank you for pushing me and motivating me. Most of all judging me. The road to recovery is full of goals. Just accomplished one today.

I have the best dog in the world. Cooper has moved to Vero Beach with me and literally has saved my life. He is only 17 months old but is the best companion I could have asked for. He was everything I needed at one of the lowest and darkest times in my life. I love this boy with absolutely everything I have.

What a fun time. Stay Rooted Run Club came, and we did very well. Lot of first and second in the different age groups. Took first and second in overall women's division!!!

Competed in my first Deka Mile yesterday, did it partnered with Jessica. She is the leader of the run group I joined. Spent the morning judging all the competitors and we were the final team to compete. What a great experience. Hope to do more of these and start running alot more.

After party

Participated in a coastal water clean up this morning in Vero Beach. Our group alone cleaned up over 300 pounds of trash. There were over 25 groups and over 1000 people all over Indian River County.

This guy right here is why I share and spread awareness for
He is the love of my life and I will share him with the world so everyone knows just how incredible he is.
As a Junior in high school he is in band playing baritone and in the culinary academy. He is passionate about both of those plus so many other things.
I love him with all my heart.

Today is my favorite day of the whole year. Make sure you hug someone awesome with Down Syndrome today!!!!

On this day, I happily remember my mother, father, uncle Jeff, all of my grandparents, aunts and uncles who have passed.
Today is a day of remembering our loved ones and celebrating their lives.
I miss them all but today is not about being sad. It is about showing that you still love them and remember them.
Take a second today to think about your family members who have passed. Not in a sad way but in a loving and happy way.

Today is World Down Syndrome Awareness Day and the incredible people and are donating 100% of the sales of their American Icon Blonde to Special Olympics.

This is a beam from one of the towers that fell 20 years ago today. I was lucky enough to be in Port Saint Lucie a couple of months ago to pay a tribute in person. This memory will always live with me. I have made it a goal for to always pay tribute and respect to everyone who gave their lives on that tragic day. Our hearts go out to the families of the fallen first responders and the helpless victims of these horrible actions.
Please take a minute and say a prayer, a moment of silence, or light a candle in memory of these tragedies to show support and remembrance.
