School kids were away on a field trip today and we have a new snow cone machine for our Open House Carnival Friday, so we decided that we needed to test it out. The preschoolers said it was the best day ever!!😂😆😁

We’ve been so caught up in all the fun that we haven’t updated Facebook!

Last month the school kids got to go to Hochatown Rescue Center and Petting Zoo & had a BLAST getting to learn about and pet all the animals. Ms Tammy & her staff were the best & we enjoyed them so much! 🐪🐓🐷

After the petting zoo, we played mini golf and enjoyed some snow cones & ice cream 🍦

“How much does it cost to enroll my child?”
- Sunshine House tuition is due on a weekly basis and is based on the age of your child. We’re happy to give you a specific number after providing your child’s age. We also offer a discount when enrolling multiple children!

“Do you accept childcare vouchers?”
- YES! We’ve been a part of the CCDF voucher program for years & are happy to accept this form of payment. We can even help you with the application process!

“What is involved in the enrollment process?”
- Our enrollment process is quick and easy! Simply fill out an application, meet with the director, and schedule your child’s start date!

“What kind of activities will my child be doing in support of their learning?”
- Our teachers love to get creative & plan so many fun activities in and out of the classroom! Some kid favorites include shaving cream painting, sprinkler play, sensory slime, and summer field trips. All children’s activities are planned to developmentally appropriate standards.

“Why should I trust Sunshine House?”
- We get it. Trusting us with your most valuable asset is a big ask. We’re happy to say that we operate by the minimum licensing requirements outlined by the state of Arkansas. This includes things like health, staff training, background checks, playground safety, and much more. Not only do we meet the minimum requirements, but we’re also recognized as a quality program by Arkansas Better Beginnings.

First field trip of the summer for the school kids to Crater of Diamonds State Park — Lots of fun and lots of questioning if the rocks we found were diamonds (they were not lol)! 💎🪣

We (School kids) tried to go to the pool today but they were closed, so we went to Tapley park and played on the splash pad. They said they all loved it. Some got a little cold but they laid in the sun and got warm. We also celebrated Ridge’s 6th birthday while we were there!!

We have openings for your babies & toddlers up to 36 months! Apply today at 1400 Reeves Avenue to join in on the summer fun!☀️

Summer employment opportunity!!! ☀️

This position is part-time and temporary for the summer, with potential of becoming permanent later on. This is a great position for someone working toward becoming an elementary teacher to gain classroom experience. Please come by and fill out an application!
