This week for Munchy Monday, I'd like to tell you about another one my favorite (ADDICTIVE) restaurants! Steakhouse 71 won my heart as soon as we made it to the entryway… if you know me- you know I’m a sucker for Walt… the entry hallway is lined with old photographs of the Legend himself and the development of Magic Kingdom & the Contemporary Resort!

Named for the year Disney’s Contemporary Resort first opened, Steakhouse 71 harkens back to the design style of the 1970s, reimagined in a contemporary, comfortable and sleek way. You’ll even notice some Florida flair—such as Orange Bird and citrus groves—mixed in with the décor.

Feast on a delicious menu that offers a nod to Walt Disney himself! Choose from dishes inspired by some of Walt’s favorites, including The Steakhouse 71 Feast or Walt’s Prime Rib Hash for breakfast and French Onion Soup, Prime Rib, 6-oz Filet Mignon or Dry-aged Bone-In Pork Chop for lunch or dinner. Classic cocktails and a portfolio of Disney family wines are also available.

Advance reservations are highly recommended. Guests can make advance dining reservations online or via the My Disney Experience App. Same-day reservations can be made on a limited basis and are subject to availability.

🍽 My meal suggestion- Steakhouse 71 Onion Rings, 8-oz Beef Tenderloin Medallions with Red Wine-glazed Mushrooms paired with Red Wine sauce and finish up with Steakhouse 71 Signature Chocolate Cake!

Disney Destiny Announcements DAY 3 🛳️
Calling all Marvel Fans!
Today’s the last day of announcements for the NEW Disney Destiny!
The Grand Hall will feature a statue of T’Challa, the Black Panther! There will also be a lounge inspired by Doctor Strange called The Sanctum!
Spider-Man and his Spider-Bots will be featured on the ship’s stern 🕷️
The Worlds of Marvel restaurant will feature the Groot Remix show recently announced for the Disney Treasure.
Saga will be a central hub for daytime family activities and adult-exclusive evening entertainment themed to Wakanda architecture.
In Disney’s Oceaneer Club, kids ages 3 to 10 will become the heroes of their own epic Disney adventures at Marvel Super Hero Academy!
We also got a sneak peak of the Destiny Tower Suite which will be a Marvel-inspired penthouse honoring Tony Stark!
The Disney Destiny will begin sailing 4 and 5-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale in November of 2025! Castaway Club members can book as early as Sept. 6. Bookings open to the general public on Sept. 12th!

The AquaMouse will receive a NEW storyline with CHERNABOG & it looks like we may get some really rare character meets including Maleficent, Cruella de Vil, Bruno, Loki, and even Oogie Boogie! Word has it they might even interrupt your Disney Trivia! 👀 The Villains representation on this ship is UNREAL!! 😍
